  1. I did 7 miles and 40 minutes on my recumbent bike yesterday.
  2. How long is the recovery period for each?
  3. I would like to do this Arandol17@hotmail.com
  4. Also, how should the APN of documented it? Should I ask for a copy the next time I am in there?
  5. Ok good lol. Because I thought it would get pushed back a month, and I already had it planned out to have it the tail end of summer. Does the doctor have to give me some type of clearance as far as the 6 month diet is concerned?
  6. The first visit, the APN weighed me, told me to keep track of my food and exercise and decide what my goals were and bring that with me the next visit. I would assume that would count right?
  7. I started (thought) my 6 month supervised diet Jan 21st, with my Doctor's office, but ended up seening the APN. I went back for the next appt, and the actual doctor isn't going to count that month since I didn't see him. Don't I have a choice? It is just 7 weigh ins I have to do for my insurance right? Do I have start it over just because he says I do?
  8. I bought a recumbent bike for the cold days, and I love that thing.
  9. Does anyone know which protein powders have a nutritional label and not a supplement label?
  10. It seems like it is one thing after another. I went and seen my Doctor's assistant to get my referral and start my 6 month supervised diet on the 21st of January. My appt with the surgeon was on the 31st. I had to call, and then go in just to make sure he sent it because he had been gone. If I hadn't of gone in, I would of had to reschedule. So that was the first hiccup. I had labs done at the hospital, and ended up sitting there for 2 hours, because they didn't mark I also needed the ekg and chest xray. Yay. Then my PCP wanted labs, even though I already had them done elsewhere. I went to the appt that they scheduled, and my Doctor's assistant forgot to order the labs, so I went there for nothing and even though I tried to explain to them I had them done, I had to go back the next week and do them anyways. Then yesterday, I went to my 1 month checkup on the supervised diet and I seen my doctor's assistant again. As soon as I handed him the form, he said he couldn't do that, I had to see the doctor. Ok, I asked him my first go around if he could do it, and he said yes. I asked him if that meant this month didn't count, and he said it should. Ok, so I seen the doctor today. Guess what...he isn't going to count the previous month. Even though I gave up soda, cut back on my eating out and junk food, increased my water intake, started exercising, kept a log of all food I ate and exercise I did-still managed to gain a pound-it counts for nothing. So, now I am upset. I had everything planned out, I would have my surgery in the summer so I had more help with my baby. Now if I am lucky it will be at the end of August or early September.... I am just so freaking frustrated by this whole thing
  11. I know lol sadly spent about 500 dollars not that long ago on clothes. Lol oh well
  12. That's good to know about Walmart and target being well enough to use lol some of these sites want a bunch of money
  13. Do they make a top too
  14. Is compression clothing different than body shapers
  15. Everywhere jiggles lol...I need a whole body compression lol
  16. When I run my fat jiggles all over and hurts. I have to quit after two minutes of running or jogging. Any ideas on what I could wear
  17. I know what you mean, it does seem forever, but being this way for 6 extra months is better than the rest of our lives
  18. I know, my insurance requires the same thing-boo lol oh well, it will go by quick.
  19. Awesome! Sounds like you don't have to complete a 6 month diet thingy. I'm about a month into mine. I've done my labs, ekg, and chest xray. I need to get a script for vit d deficiency. My doctor requires patients to go to 3 support group meetings, and I've went to 1 so far. I am trying to be more active. Lately it's been getting colder (down in the 30s) so it makes it hard to want to get out and move. I did purchase a recumbent bike, can't wait to get that!! Hope everyone is well!!
  20. It's cold here too.. Suppose to be in the 30s tomorrow. I've been walking about 30 minutes a day..using runkeeper-that app is the s&*t lol. Calculates how fast your going, elevation, keeps your progress for you, etc. I didn't get to walk today, I am hoping to tomorrow, depends on how cold it is. I'll have to look you up on facebook!
  21. I don't have any meal plans yet, I was going to wait till after I seen the dietician. I went online to look for some but they always incorporate foods I do not like...boo lol What kind of exercises are you doing?
  22. I know, I know lol-I am improving if slowly but surely lol. I went to my first support group meeting on the importance of Water. Apparently it is very important and helps you flush out fat and stuff... I have a facebook https://www.facebook.com/amanda.randolph.568 is the link. I did go to the store, didn't buy any junk. Bought some chicken breast, cheese that was 2%, skim milk, and fat free raviolis. I'm not sure anymore what to have as a side when I make stuff. I hate veggies....any ideas?
  23. Awesome!! I didn't get your message though . I need to start really trying to lose weight...but I love food!!!
  24. don't beat yourself up, just start tomorrow fresh
  25. I'm currently around 277. This is the second highest weight for me. I was over 300 while pregnant, got back down to 235 and it's been increasing ever since. I've done pretty good today had some ravioli in a can with cheese, 2 hot dogs and a pudding cup-about 4 glasses of Water with some mio. Thinking of what I want to eat now.
