  1. Smart Ones Chicken Enchiladas. I don't know why, but spicy food goes down better than non-spicy food with me.
  2. I waited 3 months. Not because of surgery, just to get the appointment to start it. I probably would've started it a month post op otherwise.
  3. I have been very lucky and haven't dumped on sugar yet. I don't avoid sugar but I limit it. I'll either have 'no sugar added' ice cream or just a very small amount of regular. Skinny Cow makes good ice cream too. I can't stand the taste of fake sugars like Splenda. So I stay away from diet drinks. I use regular sugar in my coffee.
  4. I know we can use suppositories but if neither of those work I'd call the surgeon or go to the hospital before trying anything else. I'm worried its from dehydration.
  5. Must've been a typo, they refilled it at 4 weeks.
  6. I haven't...gone...since Thursday or Friday. I feel like I have to but I can't. I also am really tired and keep getting chills. I'm going to try a suppository tonight but if it doesn't work what else can I do? I'm worried I might have to go to the hospital
  7. 2 weeks ago at a family members funeral I was asked by a distant aunt if I'm ok or if I've been sick. I thought that was so funny, and in a weird way it made me feel good
  8. Everyone is different. Other people at this point might still be a little numb from the surgery so they can tolerate more. Your pouch right now is only a little bigger than a baby's fist. Be glad you are already able to tell your limits.
  9. No, just consider yourself lucky! You'll find something eventually that will bother you, I'm sure.

Just made this lady night and can't wait to have some! I did try a little taste and it was delish, though it seems very salty. Not sure what I could do to cut down on the salt. I used 2 cans black beans and ground turkey. Also added a can of diced fire roasted garlic tomatoes.
  11. I've had sugar free chocolate. I've also had regular chocolate. I just have it as a treat once in a great while and in small quantities.
  12. It depends on how dense the food is. For dense foods, I can only eat 1/4 to 1/2 cup. For thinner foods, like soups and stuff, I can eat closer to 1 cup.
  13. I so want a bagel or a muffin.
  14. What about a mixture of peroxide and water? I've never tried it, but I heard it works just the same.
  15. Thanks! Since I posted this I've noticed it's only sometimes that I get it, it's not even all the time. So I doubt it's an infection, maybe just a side effect of the ring. I'll definitely check out the rephresh.
  16. Oh that's supposed to say 'or especially the $'
  17. I started Nuvaring and one of the side effects is BV (bacterial vaginitis) which i think I have. No symptoms other than odor. I don't have the time, or especially the $$, to go to the doctor. Are there any remedies that I can try at home?
  18. No problems with sugar so far! I just try to limit the Atkins bars because of the fat and carbs. Quest is definitely the best IMO.
  19. Left is 4 days post op. Right is 4 months.
  20. Haven't been a big soda drinker for years, but once in a great while I need something different. I've had it 3 times since surgery and honestly drank maybe half...if that...and threw the rest out.
  21. I have a diet soda once in awhile. Usually I try to best some of the fizz out of it first, and I've had no problems with it.
  22. Cheesy chicken & broccoli casserole. Nom nom
