  1. I'm agirlofaith on my fitnesspal! We've been making Soups with beans- like ham and Beans, split pea with ham... My husband has been blending them up and freezing 3oz servings for me for when surgery comes along!! I hope it's the first of February I want to be stocked up on things that are of good Protein and ready so I can be successful. Glad you are here, can't wait to hear your story!!!
  2. I've been thinking the same, will I gracefully except my new lifestyle or be regretful. I'm trying to think if my body as an engine now- and this engine will ONLY need the fuel it takes to run, not all the excessive garbage I've been thinking it (I) need.
  3. Waiting for approval here and NEW!! Welcome! Im 40... No something about it
  4. The current picture is me in the KSU purple hoodie. At my lowest weight I was a Jazzercise instructor, until the weight came back on and I developed PF in both feet...
  5. Hi all- I'm new here, been on a weightloss/gain journey my entire life, and ready for this to be life changing and long term. I've had major ups and downs with weight, in '08 I went to a weightloss dr in town and went from 206 to 136 in 5 months with exercise, strict food diet (from the dr), and serious determination. 3 years later I've gained it all back and weigh more then I started. Today I weigh 218. I'm waiting for insurance and have cleared all the other hoops. I'm excited to join you all here for long term better health! Summer 2007 Summer 2009 Currently- 2012
  6. I'm new here an hopeful to a February surgery date. I've been thinking ahead and wondered if anyone stocked themselves up with their own puréed meals and froze them in an ice cube tray for easy meal planning postop? I made ham and Beans tonight and thought how great it would be to try this. Freeze ice cube trays and then pop them out and put into a labeled freezer bag. Other ideas to make eating and meal prep easier?? I'm just worried I won't give myself enough time to have something on hand if I don't preplan this out now! Thanks!
