  1. D - for Dorian - I feel like we are close enough I can call you D - I LOVE what you posted - I am right there with you - support your position and hope you realize that. Thank you for posting what you said... Signed - the person accused of judging and can’t seem to get away from writing judging each and every post because it has now become humorous to me.
  2. How about TROLLS and EYORES - and how about EVERY SINGLE POST has something hideous about their experience - and those words start making anyone question their decisions to have surgery - not everyone can walk into an office and get approved in a few days - Dare I be accused of disagreeing, pointing out the nut jobs, - or worse - shriek - JUDGING!!!!
  3. Your the reason I came to this site - people who have supportive good stories - yes, there will be bad - but the sky is falling whoa is me torture stories have another place - NOT HERE. They seem to seep into each and every conversation - but that’s life - there’s always an Eeyore in every circle -
  4. congrats!!! my insurance covers 100% but with that I’ve been in the “process” for almost a year...
  5. I’ve been in the process for almost a year and I’m looking at June 4th.
  6. Ah! I can walk to at least one - and have 4 Starbucks within the distance you can bike ride - can you say saturation?
  7. Had a guy who was the vp of sales who was constantly smelling like mouthwash - he was covering up the 5th he's drink at lunch - thank God I don't work with him anymore
  8. I'm doing it to get clearance - nothing more
  9. Best prices are at the vitamin store (after shipping etc) amazon is no deal
  10. it makes perfect sense and explains why everyone is going back to those eating habits - its for their health. Couldn’t figure out why anyone would self sabotage - now i get it - all in the name of Vitamins...and health...hell - I’m going to get a double cheese right now in the name of my health. did you know that all the healthiest parts of fish are in the breading - yah - it’s a conspiracy that they told me no breaded fish - that’s because they are in with the Vitamin companies -- it’s all tied together now... i have theories on jfk too - why else would anyone jeopardize their health for a burger or fish filet - i mean seriously - that’s just cray talk peeps
  11. I just put two and two together - allot of people pre-op have no Vitamin deficiencies - and post op are finding themselves with problems BIG MAC’S and cheese FRIES must be full of Vitamins - I am going to make sure post op I eat as many of those as possible.
  12. I feel flattery is the highest form of flattery - I think your just amazing too... Wear that "I speak my mind" billboard loud and proud... I’ll be right behind you dodging the rotten fruit they throw Or in their case - the mcdonald/tacobell/burgerking wrappers... LMFAO
  13. Think of your body as a billboard... What do you want the marquee to say: in and out burger taco bell little caesars burger king or (here’s one for thought) WLS success 2-3-4-5 etc years out I already KNOW what the what in and out burger, taco bell, little caesars & burger king look like...it’s 350lbs and not healthy at all...if McDonalds was the healthy way to go - do you really think we’d all be talking about WLS?
  14. I find it disappointing that no one says hey - burger king or taco bell or pizza’s might not be your best choice for success -- even without surgery - but hey - that would be another judgie opposing thought - which - from what I gather - is a no no...we must all nod and give approval for such behavior. opinions are like butt holes - everyones got one.
  15. Your directly quoting my husband - he said why bother having surgery if your already trying to “trick” the system - this is the last stop for me - and I will give it everything I have - I already have my before picture - I sure as heck don’t want it to look just like the after (with a few laproscopic scars added)
  16. what amazes me is the people that aren’t upset about it... I know the first 18-24 months it’s my body doing all the work - and after that it’s ALL UP TO ME...
  17. My husband just reminded me about this trainer - ok not this part... he was unbelievably hot - think difficult to look at hot this part: he said it all the time - stop eating for enjoyment - eat once a week for enjoyment - allow one meal as a splurge - eat to fuel that body - eat lean Proteins and you will have a lifetime of success...his words are true - and when I’m on the loser bench I’m going to remind myself everyday - and right now while I prepare for the surgery - I’m going to remind myself everyday - eating for enjoyment for pain for fear for whatever is OVER - eating to fuel this amazing engine I have is my new motto.
  18. this surgery has undeniably been the #1 helper in the fight against diabetes - that’s why I’m having RNY - 87% of diabetics go into remission and they aren’t even clear how/why -- but they know the statistics.
  19. there are some wonderful people here... and just like high school - some that want to bring you down - find the cool people and hang with them... the others are at burger king or taco bell seeing how much they can “get away with”.
