That's the Plan. My daughter's Birthday was the 16th, my husband's is the 21st, and the granddaughter's is the 24 and my last supper is the 2nd so iths the month of a new beginning for everyone. New year for them and a new lighter/healthier me.

My last supper will be in Disney World, I will pack all of my approved food items and fly my way into the pre-op diet.

I feel bad. I haven't had to do any of the hoops that all of you have had to do to get your insurances to approve your surgery. I have not had to loose any weight, I was told not too. I've had no phyc eval, no limits on food intake.

I am going to ask him to give me appetite suppressants. If I dont feel like eating, I can go days with no food.

He didn't say what they were going to order me. He just said 2 weeks liquids only.

Sorry I ment to say weight loss isn't the reason for thr RNY. I will end up with one because of the MG complications. I've already had to have my pelvic floor rebuilt and part of my bowels rebuilt. Its causing my muscle tissue to diminish.

OMG - I am totally scared to death, I wont be able to handle the hunger. I can live with liquids only but how do you handle the hunger. My surgeon wants me on liquids for my liver to flush out the fats and to get my diabetes under control since not even insulins and pills can get it below 130. Yes that's plural for the insulin, 3 of them for a total of no less then 8 shots a day. Preoperative weight 252. Doctors Goal insulin free with a bonus of loosing weight. Janel's goal 132 but the doctor's said that weight loss is reason for the Rny. I have MS and MG which has caused major health complications.

I finally have a surgery date after waiting 10 years. I started this process 10 years ago and my son begged me not to have the surgery lady was afraid that I would die I your later he passed away and I kept hearing his voice tell me "mommy you're not fat , mommy you're not fat" then what insurance companies didn't cover it anymore. My husband's new company a year ago added it to the insurance as long as it was medically necessary I can have it done once in my lifetime so I began the process a year ago and yesterday I got the call that my surgery is March 15th at Mayo Clinic. Now I'm scared to death what happens if I'm hungry what happens if I miss my junk food what happens if and I've been eating right and I've been losing weight but all the sudden I'm afraid that I'll never be able to eat food again.

Right now I'm doing the exact same thing everyone in my family has a birthday um in the next 2 weeks, on the 16th the 21st and the 24th. Once the liquid portion begins, Everything's straight strictly by the book. But I am tending to eat the things that I know that I won't be allowed to eat later.

I just received yesterday my surgery date of March 15th. I'm ready for all of the eating my husband and I both have a gun to eat everything that we're supposed to my problem is that I don't eat during the day and I only eat when he comes home from work so my problems going to be I need to learn to get up and feed myself when he's not home I'll get busy I'll forget to eat. I go to do all of my pre op stuff on February 21st and then of course I send that sell have me do the 2 weeks of liquid diet prior to to get my stomach ready to be in the shrunken state.

I am so happy for you. I was just deferred to a higher level, today so we see where I go from here I have many areas that will benfit. I saw professional pictures of my God Sons baptism today and I hate the way I look, I am 252 lbs and I look like I could be a small country. I am scared to death to do the surgery but even more afraid not too. Thank you all for your input reading your responses helps.
