  1. awwwww thanks but my Rny was October 29,2012. Our group doesn't really keep in touch like the other groups so I just join in all the others lol
  2. they were giving me morphine which didn't work at all and finally Friday night a nurse I had during my bypass was my nurse that night who knew that morphine didn't work in me nor the zofran called the doctor and was switched to diladid and phenygrin and toradol to get my blood pressure down. I fell asleep within 5 minutes she helped me so much. I am on loratabs and zofran now I am home zofran doesn't help and instead if taking one loratab I am taking one and half that seems to help better but makes me more nauseous. I was able to drink half a cup of unjury chicken soup today. but I am scared I will become malnurished because I can't eat and definitely can't get enough fluids in but I am trying
  3. I didn't think it would be this painful!! the rny was a piece of cake compared to this and I am still running a low grade fever which is making me shake. I am so thirsty but can't drink enough forget eating!! thank you all for well wishes
  4. I feel like I have been hit by a Mac truck!! got out of hospital yesterday evening which I should have stayed been running a low grade fever about 100.8 in the evenings. Wednesday they did a dilatation to fix the stricture and Thursday did an ultrasound and found gallstones and sludge so Friday around, noon had gallbladder surgery. and it is 100% worst then gastric bypass pain. I have never been in so much pain in my life!! I am living off pain pills and zofran. I have lost about 10 pounds since Christmas

  6. awwwww thanks and hope you get better soon!! actually strictures occur often in patients and those that get one there is a 30% chance of a second one like me. I guess I need to read the chance of a third lol
  7. have to skip weigh in as I am still in hospital hooked up to fluids to boot so probably be a week before all the extra weight comes off. I know I weighed 233 when I came in was 237 last week. heighest was 287 surgery 10/29/12
  8. oh my!! sorry you are going through this!! i wonder wphy they are waiting its not like it will fix itself it only closes more
  9. my blood work was done one week prior to surgery date

  11. the first stricture I was almost 4 weeks post op. this one almoat 2 months post op.
  12. try taking smaller sips to see if it helps and go slower. now food makes it more uncomfortable. if it gets worst and everything seems to get stuck call dr
  13. oh and this Saturday will make me 2 months post op so o thought I would not be having gallbladder issues so soon and I am not having pain with gallbladder so to speak just intense uncomfortable bloating and pressure and intense nausea no vomiting with this either so far

  15. yes you will start noticing a little less food and then a little less water each day consumed and feel nauseous and you may feel pain or uncomfortable feeling and you may vomit. I didn't have vomiting this time. just less consumption with pain but I also have gallbladder issues that was just diagnosed a few hours ago.

  17. ok so stricture was fixed yesterday. had ultrasound at 3. nurse said it shows gallstomes and sludge. just waiting on someone to let me know what next
  18. I bought mine at GNC buy one get one free for 20 bucks
  19. add evaporated milk and cheese and some butter. we are allowed some fats. makes them fluffy
  20. zofran but nothing today
  21. I am still really nauseous eating or not eating. I am on clear liquid diet. and the bloating and gas is awful. I have to wait till 3 for ultrasound

  23. yep now that I have had 3 bags of fluid so far my tips are not wrinkley
