  12. Today I completed my first race called warrior dash. Let me tell you I'm an introvert and I think I am slowly come out if that and I really am beginning to feel fearless towards what others think of me. I did this race I climbed over hurdles under bob wire in the mud pit slid down a man mad water slide over the end if the slide to a mud slide I climbed a rope over the wall I trekked through the forest past a golf course upshot steep ski hills walk the plank climb a man made climbing wall jumped fire and fell trying to throw mud at my husband at the finish line and guess what I was not fast I walked most of it and I survived 5 k of steep hills and all the above. Last year before surgery I was so shy I wouldn't even walk in the mall I always felt people where watching me and judging . Today I could careless I am me and I love me. Last year I could hardly walk for two inured with out pain in my feet.today I can walk and not get tired. 101lbs gone forever and I am thankful for my ryn as it has given me my life back but better and no worried. Whoop whoop I i survived . I enjoy my life and I enjoy being me. Pictures are in my photos of today . Thank you for your support everyone . You people are wonderful

  16. Yesterday jogged twice. I'm doing couch to 5km. One of my goals is to be a runner. Seriously this is going to happen. So my last jog was with my daughter age 11. Great kid great mommy supporter of my changing life to healthy living. She jogged with me. Last night she was dying to keep up. She did but you could tell she was done. My program said you have one minute that means 6 minutes cook down to walk. Ok jogged it and went an extra minute. I did 1 km no stopping. I could have gone more but she was done. So I stopped. I finally had control over my breathing and my heart wasn't racing like I was dying. I was good. I love my Ryn and all the possibilities that are open now to my life. I can do it and I know I can now. I didn't give up. I just finished week 3 but I had to do week 1 and 2 for two weeks since I couldn't get a grip and never once did I give up no matter of the pain or how slow I had to jog or how no one wanted to go with me. I stuck it out. I'm crying while writing this because being obese sucks and life sucked and I made excuse no to excerise go to the mall outings . Now I'm back and I feel a renewed and a better person. Honestly if I don't lose anymore wait who cares I am slowly achieving my goal of healthy living and dedication to achieving a better me . I'm still the same person just a healthier choice that you for all your support kicks in the butt and just listing. I appreciate all of you. Oook crying stopped just had to share

  20. I'm currently doing the couch to 5 k . I am 8 months out down 100lbs. my goal before surgery was to learn to run. I use to wear orthotics and had bad pain in my feet. I started the couch to 5 k and I was stuck on week one for weeks then I tried week two and felt like I was going to die. However yesterday I moved up to week three and I lived. It was hard but I did it. In so proud if me . I will complete this program . In two weeks I have my first 5k warrior dash I will jog part and speed walk some. I will jog as much as I can. I also started women at work to do the couch to 5 k. It's hard but you can do it don't give up. I can't wait to finish the program. I was slow by the end of my jog yesterday but I kept going. Jog for 90 sec the walk 90 sec then jog 3 minutes the walk 3 minutes. Looks easy when you read it ooh I can jog for 60 sec it's damn hard. Your motivated that's 80 % of the battle whoop whoop you go girlllll
