  1. My doctor told me yesterday to use lactaid instead of milk with my shakes. I bought the supermarket brand equivalent and took about 4 sips. I have diarrhea and I feel crappy. DOS 12/17/12

  3. There is a lot of emotions and hormones rolling around. I got the same way at around the same point you are. It is so hard to see it and smell it. Once you hit that purée stage you can eat better things. So sorry your having a rough time. You can do this. Keep up the good work, it will all be worth it in the end. DOS 12/17/12
  4. The only pain is the 6 sites on your belly. And because they had to go through muscle, those will be sore. I never felt anything on the inside. You wouldn't know your stomach doesn't feel any different. That being said, you obviously need to drink sips of liquids and follow the drinking guidelines. You will be ok. DOS 12/17/12
  5. Had my post op appt today. All is well. Down 25 lbs I may be lactose intolerant which is why I have diarrhea all the time. I need to change to lactaid for my shakes and see how I do. I head back to work on Monday! DOS 12/17/12
  6. Refried Beans with melted cheese, chili, mashed potatoes, ground hamburger with melted cheese (chewed good). Hummus Tuna w/mayo. Scrambled eggs and cheese with shredded ham. Egg salad. Cottage cheese DOS 12/17/12

  8. Why does my stomach growl so much when I drink water? Also, at same time a lot of rumbling at the other end! TMI. I've had diarrhea every day after day 6 of surgery. I'm 17 days out now. Anyone else? DOS 12/17/12
