  1. I did miss soda. Last night I tried a sip Of coke zero and it was so bad I don't ever want to have it again. I think it's a good thing lol but I miss being able to just have it!
  2. Thank you! It is an amazing feeling! I though about doing that.. I want to buy a dress and make it a goal to wear it for my birthday in October!
  3. I'm 4 weeks post op and the scale hasn't moved much this week. I was feeling a little discouraged but remembered that sometimes when the scale isn't moving, inches are being lost. So I decided to put on a pair of jeans that never fit. Even when I bought them I didn't try them on and then of course grabbed the wrong size. I couldnt even get them over my butt! I put them on this morning and they finally fit! They are even baggy in my thighs now! Definitely a great motivator and now I know I at least went down a size. Woohoo!
  4. I wonder the same! I love peanut butter and it would be great to have it for breakfast or like you said as a snack!
  5. Yeah by that point I was trying any soup as long as it was low in fat. And then I would just strain and add water to it and they sat well!
  6. Good luck hun! Dehydration takes so much out of you. Once they get you fluids you will hopefully start to feel better. Keep us posted!
  7. Just tried the buffalo dip.. Yum!!!!
  8. I am feeling better thank you! I know I wish we didn't need that medicine but at least it helps us keep the little food we can have down lol and liquids
  9. Surgery date: 7/23/12 Dos: 287 3 weeks post op: 257 30 pounds in 3 weeks!

  13. Thanks ladies yeah I finally am Starting to feel like myself! Unfortunately not good enough to get out of the hospital but I'm getting closer! When I get out of here I'm going to have water bottles attached to my ass so I don't get dehydrated ever again!
  14. Thanks Chica hope you get better soon as well! Yeah low potassium does crazy things to your body!
  15. Feel better Hun! I was the same way and I ended up being super dehydrated and really low potassium. I wish you a speedy recovery and you feel better pronto!
  16. Thanks mami! As an update: I spent a not so restful night here. I have had a thousand blood tests done and one of the girls bruised my left arm so they can't take blood from there, they tried my hand which was horrible because they couldn't get blood out even when they finally found the vain, so I've been getting finger pricks for my blood test. I wish they would just take it from the IV! They said my potassium is back to normal so that's a good start! I'm still really dehydrated so I might not go home today either :/ they also said it doesn't have anything to do with my surgery itself (no blockage or twists or rips) they think i was around someone sick and got a virus and it just took me down fast, or at my work they were waxing the floors and the fumes were horrible. So I could have gotten sick from that. I'm still on my nasuea medication (every 6 hours) and I have been getting pain medication about every 7 hours or so (it's been lasting a long time thank god cuz it hurts) I think my body is just sensitive to everything going on. Thank you all for you well wishes! I appreciate it so much and it really keeps me going.
  17. A little update: I'm staying over night. Im really dehydrated and still can't drink on my own. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day! I'm also getting potassium and some vitamins threw my IV
  18. I was admitted to the hospital. They said my potassium is low and that's all they can figure out. So im getting 4 bags of that and dilaudid for the pain.
  19. Thank you. I'm going back to the er. I'm in a lot of lower stomach pain and I threw up and there was a little blood this time. Not what I wanted to see but something's gotta be going on!
