I trust me I know what that's like my day was sent for may 15, was on that liquid diet , went to the doctor on may 14th and notice my doctor has His finger wrap up and he tells me I can't do your surgery tomorrow cause his having surgery. So finally got mine done on July 10th, I had to make sure his finger was workin right before he worked on me.

  3. I had to have one, I would call my primary doctor and make appointment just incase , you are to close for set backs.
  4. It's totally normal, just think your starting your new life. Best wishes and good luck.
  5. Surgery day get some rest and don't be afraid to ask for pain meds, the day after get up and walk.walk.walk you will feel much better. and don't forget your Chapstick. Best wishes and congrats.
  6. It's normal, I'm in the same boat start at 210 on surgery day , was 200 one week after surgery , and today I'm 199. Just hang in there and try to get more protein that's really important. Everyone 's body is different.

  10. Try to stay Between 600 - 800 calories a day for the first few months, I know that part sucks but my Dr stresses that point at every appointment.

  12. You will know when your dumping, for me it's a pressure feeling in my chest, or your BM is like baby's poop, or the clear foamy vomit, I vomited for the first time today driving because the women at Dunkin doughnuts put honey in my hot tea

  15. Welcome, Tank. It's gets easier as days good bye. I had my surgery on July 10th and I can just now sleep on my stomach. Just keep on walking and you will keep on healing, I'm walking 4 miles a day again, and I'm feeling great. May God Bless you on this long journey. Just remind yourself your on a liquid diet so of course your energy level is low:(

  17. I'm in the same boat as you, had my surgery on July 10 and I only lost 9 pounds, just try to get the 70 grams of protein in a day, and the 64 oz of water,my doctor said its normal that everyone is different.
  18. My doctor took my dressing off after a week, however I still wear my band for the support. It helps a lot.

  20. Yes I had a open RNY,I felt a lot better when my doctor took the drain out, I have 13 staples and it's very sore.
  21. Ok thanks, I was wondering if I was doing to much.
  22. Had my surgery on the 10 of July, I get my staples out tomorrow however they till feel sore. Did this happen to anyone?
