I know you asked Liz, whats her preop diet, but i just wanted to throw my 2cents in. My doctor approved me to drink Oh Yeah protein Supplements with unsweetened soy milk, almond milk, or 1 % milk. I have to drink 1200 calories a day. At first they wanted me to drink Unjury which is what they recommend for all their patients however i wasn't able to keep it down (it was that bad)........Hi Liz, Which brand of Protein supplements are you using? My goal will be to get as much of the replacement shakes in during the day while i'm at work.Good Morning my fellow Oct surgery daters , I am just checking in to see how everyone is doing? I can imagine excited and scared at the same time. I know I am. I am super excited about my pre-op appointment tomorrow afternoon, however I am nervous about starting the liquid diet next Monday. Time is going fast, but yet so slow because I am just ready for the "day of" which is when I think it will all feel so real. I am looking forward to a healthy life changing experience most of all. My goal is 135-140. I am not sure what size that is, but i am hoping its between 4-6. My doctor said i will probably be between 130-145.So I've just purchased my Multivitamin's chewable from Opurity (90 day) supply and my Calcium plus 500 (90 day) supply from Celebrate Bariatric Supplements. Next week this time i will be preparing to start my one week liquid protein diet starting on 9/24.Congrats Oct people!!!!CongratsI live in Maryland, but will be having my surgery in Washington, DC at Sibley Memorial Hospital which is under John Hopkins. Anyone from this area?Congrats!!!!Omg!!!! My surgery is scheduled for October 1st. My pre-op is on Sept 19th, and I have to do one week of liquids starting September 24th. I have already purchased my Protein for the liquid diet. Next week I will purchase 90 day worth of the Vitamins my doctor recommend. All in all, I'm an super excited.Congrats!!!
