  1. In our 10 years together I have never weighed less than my husband until now!!!!! And he made this goal even harder because he has lost 25-30 lbs himself since I started this whole process!!!!
  2. 20 lbs in three weeks is great!!! That's basically a pound a day....nothing to be upset about. I PROMISE you it does get easier....I had my surgery on June 20th....my starting weight was also 348...had lost about 25 before surgery and I'm now at 265....83 lbs down and I have no regrets....but I totally felt like you did at just a few weeks out. Just make sure you are following your doctors plan and getting in your protein and exercise and you will succeed!!!
  3. That would be my only "complaint" is they are SO sweet! But tight now while I'm suffering through this kidney stone I cant seem to eat anything without getting nauseous so these are saving me right now. And I really hate the milky tasting drinks.
  4. This one is pretty good and much less expensive than the isopure....same nutritional info though. I got them at GNC.
  5. I can eat out without problems. I measure everything at home on a food scale so I have a pretty good idea of what the amount I can eat looks like....I just separate that amount out into another plate before I start eating.
  6. Thanks I'm just so used to focusing on protein and right now I can barely eat at all without throwing up. It is a kidney stone....what a fun way to spend this long weekend :-(
  7. I have had the week from hell....UTI. earlier this week and today I have been at the Dr office all day and just got sent for ct scan....he thinks kidney stones are causing this excruciating pain....so I've also been nauseous and unable to eat more than a bite or two today...I'm not going to come anywhere close to getting my protein in today.
  8. Diarrhea actually sounds wonderful right now - enjoy it while you can. I'm 10 weeks post op and almost never go and today my stomach is killing me...I just wanna poop!!!
  9. Wow! You look great and I bet you are feeling great too. Congrats!!
  10. Wow what a start on this journey! Glad you're doing better and hone now.
  11. Are you done having kids? If so you could have your tubes tied and not have to worry about side effects of other bc.
  12. This was a recommendation by my nutritionist
  13. Uuuggggghhhhh its a UTI and the symptoms are all here going strong now. Id rather deal with just about anything else other than this.
  14. Anyone had this? It started last night....my belly had been hurting a little since yesterdays lunch (I thought off was the strange sauce on my chicken)....I really noticed it just a few mins ago....I'm 10 weeks post op....is this a PCP kind of thing or do I call my surgeons office?
  15. I'm guessing the citrate part has to do with iron...I take calcium cures but no iron in them that I know of...ill have to check that out.
  16. It lasted about an hour....he has you do a walking test to see how much your heart rate and bp goes up. Then he shows you some toning exercises with the bands, tubes and ball. Also goes over how many cals you burn per minute doing certain activities at your current weight. He was really nice....nice to look at too
  17. Anyone found this at any local stores (as opposed to ordering it from somewhere). I need to start taking it and so far no luck at CVS or Walgreens.
  18. Dang auto correct...that should say congrats.
  19. Anyone drank post surgery? What did you drink? I'm 10 weeks post op and have been following all the rules to a T but my best friend turns 30 next month and she wants to do it up big....going out that night and I know drinking is going yo be involved. So I was thinking....I cant drink beer because if the carbonation and I cant drink the yummy "umbrella drinks" due to all the sugar....don't tell me my only option is straight liquor!!!
  20. Hey working4shoes! I'm in Salisbury and also had Dr. Bauman - June 20th...he's excellent. Do you go to support meetings? I've been thinking about it but don't know when/where.
