Straws?
I drink from straws regularly now. I am 7 months post OP and started again with straws at 4 months post OP. I don't have any problems or pain. I know I won't drink the water I need if I can't have it through my straw. Give it a try and see how you feel, it's really the only way you'll know. Good luck!

You all might think I'm nuts but I use vicks vapor rub in my feet & hands when my exema flares up/ or my hands & feet are dry. It's an remedy for a lot if things. I swear by it. I just rub it on at night before bed no socks usually but I'm sure you could. & the next day everything feels better.....you just gotta like the smell. LOL- I Got A Great Work Out Dvd
I love that DVD. I use it often. The time goes flying by & its true you feel great after. I think I'm gonna jump outta bed now & do it. Thanks for the inspiration this morning.- My Scale Is Stuck Again!
I am right there with you. A little frustrated but then I realized I wasn't journaling my food & exercise has slowed down. I am 5.5 months post op down 70 pounds & praying my body will loose more. Not trying to stress though because u know that makes a difference too. Just getting back to the basics and taking care of me. Good luck getting through your plateau too.- Back And Muscle Pain
My lower back almost tailbone area has been causing me excrutiating pain. I called my surgeons office & they said it normal from rapid weight loss. To exercise those muscles more because they are used to be more fluffly covered by fat. & we are using areas of our body that weren't used as much before. So hope that helps a little.- Protein Recipe
Great idea! Thank you! gonna try this one for sure.- Eating Right?
Thank you for posting that list. Just read the thread all the way through. :-)- Eating Right?
I would love your list of high protien foods as well. It would be so helpful - I wk full time & then as soon as I get home my mom/wife hat goes on & I am really neglecting me! I feel it as I have hit a plateau at 5 months post op after rny. BTW I love this support group!- Gum & Straws
I was told the same. Gum makes my stomach gassy & I wk back to straws. It's the only way I get my water in. No problems yet. I am 5 months out & tried straws last month or do.- NatRDH
