  1. That's hilarious... I did the same thing with a pair of burmuda shorts today, size 16, they zipped and all!... Maybe a few more weeks til I can actually wear them out, but atleast I know, this summer for sure! LOL Nice to know I'm not the only one! -sweet
  2. I'm not exactly sure how many calories I intake a day. My Dr. Told me to concentrate on carbs and the amount each food contains. And to stay away from them! LOL I do take my Protein shakes and drink Water all day long. -sweet
  3. I have a few questions for all you guys that are post op... I see a lot of ppl posting about what they eat even as early as a few days post op. I'm soon to be 9 weeks post op and I just begain to eat "real" food about 2 weeks ago. But seems like when I eat I either dnt lose weight or I will gain back a pound. Vs. When i was on my liquid diet I was dropping weight like crazy. The problem is now I actually get hungry :/ I usually will eat an egg for dinner with some crumbled fat free feta cheese. I'm not sure what the problem is. But I been at -52 lbs for about a week and a half. -sweet
  4. Good news anjela! I think it will go away! Lol The feeling of passing food is so much better now. I guess all we needed was time to heal. For me it was more than 8 weeks! I still occationally feel that way with foods that are too thick. So just stick to foods that are easily swallowed, and gradually move up. Good luck! Hope you feel better -sweet
  5. Ughh! Tell me about it! I been at a plateau this whole week. I hope I start loosing soon. It's kinda fustrating after being on a roll! Lmao -sweet

  7. Hi Melissa Looks like its up to u to make this change. It will be hard at first because u do not have the support of Ur hubby, but in the long run it will help you and your kids live a longer healthier life! I'm a single mom of two young kids and i cook meals for them daily... Tasty ones! Lol and i get tempted too. I give in some times but i always remember that when it gets hard the outcome will pay off in the long run. I'm 8 weeks post op and i think this has been my hardest week so far, because I get hungery now, but -54 lbs keeps me motivated! Lol so try and relax keep Ur mind away from food, and you will do great with you surgery. Best wishes! -sweet

  9. Hmm... I feel that way but its everytime I eat. I'm 8 wks post op and my surgeon just put me on pureed foods. I hate the feeling of having food stuck in your throat. I always want to drink Water to make it go down but that will only further fill my pouch n make me feel sick. -sweet

  17. Hey everyone I'm new here. Im a little over a month and a half post op and have lost 45 lbs. I'm still on my liquid diet, because I dnt get very hungry very often, and when I do, and I attempt to eat something, I feel like it gets stuck. Did anyone else have this issue? How long typically til food can go down smoothly?
