  1. Panda, I totally feel your pain! My surgery was May 1 and I started out at 283.4. That was my highest weight 2 weeks before surgery. I have been yo-yoing between 212 and 210 for the last few weeks. I just don't seem to be able to get below that. I work with a trainer 3 times a week, in addition to my other exercise. I was told I wasn't eating enough, so I upped my calories big time and all I did was gain. I don't have any answers or even helpful suggestions, but I wanted you to know that you are not alone. I'm extremely afraid of failure and probably stress too much about it, but all we can do is to keep trying.
  2. I'm just curious as to how many carbs or the percentage of carbs that are being used by those of you who use My Fitness Pal. It seems like I'm getting an awful lot of carbs, and that usually is a much higher percentage than my protein. I am getting all my protein in, but I'm a little concerned about the number of carbs I seem to be getting.
  3. Pre surgery 283.4 Last week. 211.4 Today's weight. 211.4 Surgery. May 1 I'm stuck! Getting depressed
  4. I have been fluctuating between 213 and 210 for the last 2+ weeks. After being a failure at every diet, I am afraid I will fail at this, too. Just nervous I guess. Thanks everyone for taking the time to respond. I love this group!
  5. I'm 4 months out and I've lost about 70 lbs. I always get between 65-70 grams of protein per day. I get in at least 64 ounces of fluids, I workout with a trainer 3 times per week, I log my food on My Fitness Pal, and I usually have around 1100 calories per day, I also wear a Fitbit to keep track of my activity, and I can not seem to get below 210 lbs. Are my calories to high? I can not figure out what to do. I'm so down hearted and feel as though I may fail at this, too. Comments and suggestions are welcomed.
  6. Ok. I'm 4 months out and yes, I get hungry. Last night I had a grilled chicken breast and some broccoli and I was ravenous within 2 hours. We had went to the circus and I was so flipping hungry I bought an over priced box of stale popcorn and ate close to 1/2 of it.
  7. FANTASTIC! I don't know why someone hasn't already done this. Just make sure we can get them in Kansas City!
  8. Absolutely! I've been taking the One a Day little red pills since about 1 month out.
  9. I seem to have enough gas to light up a small country. I can clear a room in nothing flat, and it seems there is a lot of "hang time" associated with it. I'm four months out and afraid to go out in public. I've read about different products on the Internet and am way confused about effectiveness vs. scam. Has anyone tried anything that seems to work?
  10. Surgery May 1. Weight. 283.4 Today's weight. 211.4 I gained 3 lbs. this week, but Lost it, so now I'm even with last week. Anyone ever have this happen? I'm upset about it.
  11. Hi all. i'm just wondering about how many calories everyone is eating. I'm 4 months post op and I feel like I'm hungry all the time. I try and watch and be careful, but I admit I have given into my sweet tooth and had some of the mini 100 calorie ice cream sandwiches. I seem to be able to eat almost everything. I have not and will not try anything fried. I keep telling myself not to eat since that's how I got fat in the first place. I seem to be eating around 1100 to 1200 calories per day and yes I'm getting in all of my protein and water and I exercise with a trainer 3 days a week. Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience.
  12. I eat out every night. It's just me and my husband, so I don't cook any more. Before we go, I check the nutrient content on wherever we're going so I'll know what to order and how much I can eat. I hope that helps.
  13. I've gone from a 44C to a 40C, and I think I'm about ready for a 38B
  14. Surgery. 5/1/2012 Starting weight. 283.4 Last weeks weight 214,4 Todays weight. 211.4 Total loss. 72 lbs.
  15. I have no clue what something like that would cost, but I'm sure I'll find out in time. LOL
  16. SUPERB! The closer I get to onederland the harder I try.
  17. Jackie, YOU LOOK FABULOUS!!!! Keep up the good work, girl!
  18. Mamio. I don't think they look too bad at all.
  19. Sorry you're having troubles. If you want a glass of wine, try it. Sip slowly and make sure you drink it at home.
  20. HI all! I just have to share with you what I've done. I had a hair follicle transplant last week. My hair on top has always been thin, and as I get older it gets thinner. It runs in the family. So as part of my self improvement journey, I went to Bosley and had a transplant. I can't decide if I want to do veneers on my teeth next or a breast lift. I'm planning on getting permanent makeup next week. So jazzed!
  21. I take mine whole. I have since day 1
  22. Patty, you might try to increase your intake. I know it sounds crazy, but your body might have went into starvation mode and could be holding on to everything. I. Would also take one Senakot tablet to get your system moving again. Hope that helps. Keep us posted.
  23. New Carrie, sorry to hear about your problem. Have you tried decaf green tea? It tends to settle the stomach without calories or caffeine. I get my fluids in that way. Keep us posted, please.
