  1. I had surgery April 8, 2014 and was down a total of 90 lbs. I have slowly started gaining weight. I'm now only down 50 lbs. I need to get back on track, but I'm having the hardest time. At this time I'm able to pretty much eat anything, and much larger amounts then I used to after surgery. Any tips or advise will be greatly appreciated. I NEED to get back on track soooo bad. Any by the way, I have not had a Protein shake in over 6 months. I should prob start with those again as a Meal Replacement. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    That's awesome!! My weigh loss has def slowed down, but still losing here & there. Over the weekend I weighed in and I'm Down 56 lbs now in 14 weeks! Cannot wait to see where I stand in another 3 months from now. Good luck & stay in touch with me

    I had surgery April 8, 2014. I'm currently down 54 lbs in 13 weeks! I feel great!!! I hope everyone else is doing good as well. I go to my 3 month post op appt tomorrow. Sooo very excited ) looking forward to seeing the difference another 3 months makes!

  9. Hey everyone. Hope u all are doing good! Tomorrow will be my 3 month mark & I'm feeling great!! I'm able to eat pretty much anything as long as I chew it very well. I'm starting to have a lot more energy, less sleep needed, body doesn't ache as much. I'm not doing very good with the exercise, unfortunately. But I'm going to start next week. With work being soooo busy the last few months & coming home & working on the house (we have been remodeling) I haven't had much time for anything. But it's finally done! Yayyyy. So my surgery was April 8 & since the day of surgery I'm down 51 lbs as of this morning. I've dropped 2 full sizes & my current size it starting to get a little baggy. Makes me sooo happy. Well I'm hoping everyone else is doing good also.

  12. I've been feeling great! Was off my pain meds about 5 days after surgery, no nausea since I left the hospital. Everything I've ate has went down soo smoothly. I've had a couple incidents where I either ate too fast or didn't chew the good good enough & felt that uncomfortable feeling in my chest, but other then that I'm doing great. No regrets! I'm down 30 lbs at 5 weeks & dropped 1 jean size & now the size I'm in are starting to feel a little loose which is great. I hope everything's going well with u too )

  14. Hello everyone. Just wanted to share with u that today I'm 5 weeks post op & I weighed in this morning & I'm 30 lbs down!! Sooo excited. I'm feeling great & getting in about 70-80 grams of protein. I still need to up my water but that's been a challenge. Tea sounds sooo much better the last few days :/ Well hope everyone is doing good. Talk to u all soon. Have a good day
  15. I went back to work with just 2 weeks off. As far as pain was just a little sore but 1/2 way they the day I felt exhausted!! I think the hardest part will be that ur energy level is very low. But I would atleast take 1 week off.
  16. There's a website I buy my shakes from called Chike Nutrition. U can buy a sample pack that lets u try each flavor for like 6.00. They r THE BEST shakes & only ones I can actually enjoy. They also have a high protein iced coffee as well if u enjoy coffee (I'm not a coffee drinker, but my fiancé loves it! I highly recommend u give it a try. If u decide to try, please let me know what u think. Good luck to u
  17. I usually stop by walgreens or rite aid or even a gas station & buy a mozzarella string cheese to hold me over & it's a perfect amount!

  19. Good Morning to u all.... I'm officially 4 weeks out today... Yayyy have been feeling great & everything has been going down smoothly. Only 1 time I experienced a bad pain from eating & it was one of the many times I had tuna. Must have ate too fast or didn't chew it good. Felt like the worst heart burn ever. Was stuck in my chest for like a good 10-15 min the. It finally went down. Hasn't happened again since. I think I learned my lesson Hahahaha. I'm down 26 lbs today as well. My dr office emailed my new diet last night that I can start as of today. Soooo excited. It has -Vegetables (except corn) -Fresh fruit (except grapes & raisins) -Mashed potatoes (only form of potato I can have) -Salad- spinach, spring mix, butter leaf & romaine only -dressing with 5g of sugar or less -chicken -turkey -shrimp -crab -any kind of grilled fish Plus all the previous items from last menu... Tuna, cheese, mashed potato, cream of wheat, fat free milk, etc. Hope everyone else is doing great as well.

    I am too! I mean I'm still really limited, but as soon as I get the okay from my dr I have recipe ideas to use! But u can never have too many lol
  24. Thank u! But I still need to up it just a bit. At least 10 more grams a day. Sometimes I'm Just not in the mood to drink a protein shake lol
