Do u have a high pain tolerance? I have like zero tolerance for pain so ur 5 might be like an 8 for me. Lol. How often did u have to get up & walk around at the hospital? What type of pain meds did they give u & did they help a lot? Is there anything u needed at the hospital that came in handy that u suggest I bring with me?

Glad everything went well! Mine is on Tuesday & I'm getting more & more nervous. What is ur pain level like since u been home?

My surgery is April 8th.... So I plan on putting pics of my progress on there as time goes by!

Good Luck to everyone who is having surgery this week!!! Mine is the 8th & I'm getting really nervous. Just had my pre op & had to register @ the hospital, psyc evaluation & do blood work yesterday. I'm ready to go now! Hope to hear from everyone that had surgery this week very soon! Praying for a quick easy recovery for us all

Thanks holly! I will def be on here updating u all with my progress. Jeanette where r u from? Sounds like ur pre op diet is a lot harder then the one my dr wants me on. Mine is just lean meats, fruits & veggies. No carbs! So it's a lot easier to do. Hopefully This week goes by fast for u. It seems like forever I'm sure when the pre op diet is a lot stricter! It's great ur going to make this life change. I have slightly high blood pressure & can't wait to get off my medicine! Ur daughter will enjoy being able to play more with her mom. The next 2 weeks will fly by! Good luck to u also & everyone else's upcoming surgeries. The ones b4 April 8th I would love to hear from u before mine so I know more of what to expect right after waking up from surgery!

I'm getting more & more nervous each day that goes by! My surgery date 1 week from tomorrow (April 8th)!! How is everyone's pre op diet going so far? I was told to start last wed the day I left my consultation. I have my actual pre op this Wednesday along with more blood work & hospital registration, etc. the days are going by sooo fast!

I was worried about my insurance too but it wasn't a problem at all. They called me yesterday & just encouraged me to try losing more b4 my surgery. My whole process has been about 6 months including the mandatory 12 week classes I had to attend thru kaiser. Seems like once u got the referral to surgeon things are moving sooooo fast!

Awesome. Where are u located? Is anyone from Cali getting theirs in April? If so who is ur surgeon?
