  1. Hello Fellow December Sleevers !! I'm Currently hoping to go in December .. I've been overweight most of my whole life (19 years). I started researching everything about 3 years ago and never went through with it because I thought maybe it would get better. But now I'm taking this very serious and started the process September 10th and met with my surgeon and discussed everything I finished all my pre-op testing October 7th and was submitted to insurance Monday !! I'm very excited and have been on edge wish I could call my insurance everyday .. But none the less I'm very excited and hoping to have this done during my winter break in school !!

  7. So today I got my GI clearance and is very excited !! It was my last appointment and I contacted my doctors office via email and they stated I will be submitted to insurance as soon as they get the faxes .. Hopefully I can be submitted by the weekend. VERY EXCITED for my life to be more healthy before my life really starts, this is the best thing I could have decided to do. 19 years old and getting healthy for me and my future
  8. That's wonderful , a whole pregnancy with no weight gain !! I know your very excited for your new bundle of joy.. I wish you all the best with the continued weight loss and your new baby .. congratulations
  9. I'm pre-op , pretty confident with my body but I just can't get in the mood sometimes I feel like I've gotten to big but not always. I've noticed that when I look at my boyfriend his body isn't what I like to see , and doesn't turn me on and he claims to be on a diet but never really works out. What in the world should I do ? Does your sex drive change after surgery? What do I tell my boyfriend who clearly wants to have sex but I just can't? Please help !
  10. That's good !! I really need to start doing a little exercise because I don't want to be so much to try and do fresh out of a surgery. Because going from no exercise to needing to do that like two to three times a week plus only drinking liquids could really be a lot to handle at once.
  11. Yesterday I had a four hour test done at my local hospital, called gastric emptying study. It was the last thing I had to do before I could have my results visit with my doctor. When I find out that I must a a follow us visit with the doctor who ordered the test I really feel some type of way, and the fact that the appointment is two weeks away really makes me upset !! I'm just so ready to pick my surgery date and get insurance approval.
  12. So are you going to do like one picture per week ?
  13. I have a question to all that have been sleeved or recently sleeved. Did you take pictures of yourself before just to know where you started and to say you came from point a to where you are now? I don't know that I want to take a picture of myself at my heaviest but the fact of knowing how far I've come would be cool I guess .. So picture or no picture ?!
  14. That's wonderful , like a month away !! How long is your pre op diet ??
