  1. I'm going to try and make it to this.
  2. I was a bmi of 36 with co-morbidities. Insurance covered surgery with no problems. I don't feel that my weight loss was any slower.
  3. Went in the wrong direction this time. I'm at 151. I can tell my periods coming.
  4. If your unsure you can always pour it through a strainer.
  5. First and foremost, I set my goal so that it would be a "normal" bmi. Then I let my body decide where it naturally wanted to be. Also, I feel that if I lost anymore weight, I'd look sickly.
  6. Fawnb27, that sounds just like me. I was sleeved by Dr. Svendson in October 2013 and live in the north metro. Would be great to have someone to talk to and compare notes.

  8. I'd like to get a new tattoo but I don't want to do that until I get skin surgery. Don't think the skin surgery is going to happen until at least a year out if at all. Guess I need to make a choice soon.
  9. I tell people diet, exercise and surgery because for me it truly was a combination of the three.
  10. I just ordered one from Lauren's Hope also. I have a drug allergy and that with the sleeve probably warrants having one. Plus if I'm at the gym or out walking and something happens to me, I can be identified.
  11. Starting weight is 153. My goal weight is 148.
  12. I was sick to my stomach for the whole 3 days I was in the hospital. didn't have much pain but they tried many different drug to control my nausea. After 3 days it was gone. Never threw up blood though.
  13. I followed my 10 day liquid pre-op diet exactly. It was hard but I figured if I couldn't do it before, how could I do it after. Plus, it gave me a huge sense of accomplishment and for once, I controlled my eating, not the other way around.
  14. This only things I miss slightly are my boobs and having enough padding on my bottom so that it's not uncomfortable sitting on my bony butt.
  15. Lately, one of my favorite quick meals is 1 egg and 1/4 cup black Beans undrained. I like my egg over easy but you could do it scrambled.
  16. 152 this morning. Went a little crazy this weekend with the eating.
  17. I haven't and don't intend to because they all contain the bread wrap.
  18. My weight last week must have been overinflated. I'm down this week to 152! almost to my total goal.
  19. Caught a cold and up to 157.5 Ugh! Weekends are killing me.
  20. I really like pureed cottage cheese with some sugar free Jello. Also, liked black bean Soup, refried Beans with cheese sauce.
