  2. Almond milk saved my life with that! I just did a few sips am hour, did me wonders, I know each person is dif but might not hurt to try
  3. Are so amazing! I see such kindness and honesty, teaching each other and reaching out to each other! I don't reply much or say to much to post, put if I do the response is always positive and uplifting to everyone involved. And while reading stories and covos I have really learned so much! I'm 2 weeks post op, down 24 lbs and very thankful for this community I know I will have beside me threw this amazing journey! So thank you all!

My hips hurt sooooo bad since I have had kids, and if I'm inactive for long periods they will just ache and ache , so the 1st 3 days they hurt and by day 4 I was in do much pain with them, I just started back walking as soon as I could ( nothing crazy .3 mile a few times a day , 2 weeks out I'm up to 4 miles) just get them moving , I'm not sure if that helps..... And another super crazy thing that happened to both me and a very good friend of mine, stopped period a few days before sleeve then less then 2 weeks latter starting it again
  5. I'm 2 weeks out today, and thought that pain would never go away, it is still there when I drink but much less, your body almost adjust to how the water hits do it's not as painful
  6. I have a friend who is already being ugly to me " I had to work to lose 60 lbs not just have a surgery to lose it" I just let it roll off my back, bc my true friends are happy for me

Contact your local LLL, they will go out if their way to help you, i am a BF momma right now, I'm 2 weeks post op, my supply is a little low but not drastic , I just have to make sure I still sip water during the night bc of not being able to drink 80 oz during the day ( 80 is the min I need for a good supply but 100 is ideal).
  9. I had my check up today! ( October 9 th was my date) and iv lost 24 lbs! Dr was so excited for me! I am so lucky to have an office full of ppl on my side! I'm up to doing 5 miles a day, I was at 7 post op, I feel great! And well on my way to looking good too

  11. Mine went from dark green / black to orange and now back to green/ black, I'm still on liquids , my date was 10/9... Only full liquid I can take in is protein 1- 2 oz every 15 , interested to see what color I get in a month with I start the blender foods lol
  12. Sleeve changes everything.... Even poop color..... Threw me off too at 1st
  13. Your not really, I was sleeved the 9 th and for about 5 days my body clock was telling me to eat. It really passes I promise, being around other and food never got to me but I would be like " time to eat I'm hungry" then I would think " no silly your not" . I think it's mind over matter. I don't even think about food now, it's a wonderful thing, I never knew what power it had over me,
  14. I had mine done on the 9 th, it was awful I threw up for over 24 hours, I thought I was going to die and it would never end, but it did, come off all your pain meds if you can stand to, that's what stopped mine

  16. Thanks all, I have better pc of mind hearing it does go away, iv never been in that much pain, they gave me 2 dif meds and a patch before I could even lay back, but I feel sooooo much better since in off the drip, I think you might be right ab the meds making you sick bc I feel so much better

The moment I woke up I started dry heaving and throwing up this did not stop till 3am last night, iv read threw alot of the post and topics but would like to hear if this happened to anyone else. I was able to start my 30ml of broths and water and when it hit it feels like glass cutting into me. Thanks in advanced y'all! Oh and I might get to go home in the morning!!!!

  22. Y'all are all so sweet! Thank you so much! I just had vidals done, now I'm sitting here in this robe, praying my sitter gets to my house I time so that hubby gets her before I go back, I think the sitting alone thinking is scaring me the most right now
  23. Thank you that was really kind of you to say I have this fear of going in and not coming out leaving a 2 and 4 year old with out a mommy, but they need me healthy
