  1. I'm allowed straws...not quite sure why some say no, but I asked and was given the okay. Like LL says, follow your drs advice...so weird how they are all so different
  2. Hah! That's me too!!!
  3. I find myself doing this too... I have to mentally/physically realize what I'm doing and stop!! It's horrible...I tell ya, I was so ignorant and in my mind, once I had WLS I wouldn't be hungry, I wouldn't WANT to eat, and it would all be easy - sure I thought I might have some bad times, but NOTHING like it really is. The mind games are awful. I will know I'm not hungry and still want something...it's so frustrating. I want to stay away from that...so much easier said than done - I thought losing the weight would be my ultimate motivator...and in a small way it is, but not enough to make my mind shut up.
  4. My 9 year old did it with me. He likes to do it. Him and my 13 year old daughter compete doing these!!! Crazy kids!
  5. HAH!!! I WISH!!! and thankya ma'am

  8. I know that feeling...the shutting people off...I know it keeps us from the "good" stuff but sometimes it's necessary
  9. Oh, RJ, how heartbreaking, but you are right, what you lived through has made you who you are today. I pray that God will continue to help you overcome the demons you struggle with. Hugs to you

  11. I did my 2nd day of planks and added 5 seconds for a total of 25 seconds today:)
  12. Thanks to Butter, I will be doing miles this time. I will attempt 30-40 miles walking/cycling and the plank challenge. I've cycled 2 miles this morning and completed my plank for the day. I added 5 more seconds to my plank over yesterday!!
  13. Hahha I call people Hun too...and I've never been creeped out by you calling anyone that.
  14. Hah we are ALL heathens!! When I was a teen, one of my friends grandfathers called me "Heathen"..for some reason he couldn't say Heather, but then as he got to know me, he said his name for me suited me :-P.
  15. Ohhh a girl can dream!!! I cannot imagine being smaller!! I hope to be, but it's surreal right now to me.
  16. Ha ha! There ya go GG
  17. I don't have severe pain, but I have been hurting of late...I'm thinking changing the way I carry myself now...hopefully. I know my legs hurt every night and it's not muscle pain...
  18. Nahhh that didn't bother me at all! I guess it all depends on who calls you the "endearments"...some peeps are just downright creepy - you are definitely NOT in that category
  19. You're sexy, I would be comfy with that too!!
