Ok October Sleeve Brothers & Sisters....my surgery date was moved from Oct 23rd to the 30th. I'm not upset because I got a better secondary surgeon (for my cyst removal, dual procedure) my Bariatric Surgeon is pleased and so am I. 7 more days won't be so bad, better feeling comfy and safe. So to all my Oct 30th peeps...we got this!! I did all of my Pre-Op testing today and I have no Pre-Op diet so I'm ready..even bought me some new pillows today for when I come home. So Excited!!!!!!!

My surgery date is 10/23..they may have to change it now because 1 of my surgeons (having 2 procedures at once) are having scheduling issues. The funny thing is..my birthday is 7/29/72 and by your name I'm thinking yours is 3/29/72...that's a coincidence..Lol! I should know by Tuesday if the date changes... Good luck to you!!!

So glad you guys are doing well Back2Barb..that's awesome.

So I just hung up with my surgeons scheduler..because I have to have a double surgery they are now looking to move me to another date other than 10/23. :-( maybe later...I just cannot even think about waiting one more day longer after all I've been through. The surgeon removing the cystic mass is the problem..but it has to come out it's causing too much pain and issues. *deep sigh I'm so irritated. But I'm trusting God to handle this. My Bariatric surgeon is on my side she's not wanting to change it, and she says there's no way she's doing it 11/27 THE DAY BEFORE Thanksgiving like they wanted. The thing is there would be a skeletal staff there because if the holidays...No friggin way am I doing that. Anywho, sorry I needed to vent...praying somehow this works out in my favor.

That's awesome, that's only a little over a year so actually that's probably the most weight lost I've seen so quickly. High five!!!

Mine is 10/23. As far as exercising I think it depends on the person.

I am a professional hair stylist if more than 20 years and yes it's awesome for hair growth..apply it to the scalp but don't use too much as to clog your pours. If you are Caucasian I would use it as a treatment prior to shampooing and go under a warm dryer for about 20 minutes. Or else you are going to have the greasies...Lol! Good Luck!!!

Hello I'm Pre-Op and I quit smoking almost a year ago 11/9/12. I hadn't even given surgery a thought...I was just so damn tired of smoking. I got. Cartomizer (electric cigarette on steroids) and it helped me..I call it my pacifier..I still use it but I get liquid w/o nicotine now.
