Hey guys just wanted to update you...I am 17 days Post Op and feeling pretty good. I've lost 22lbs since I got home from the hospital 11/04 and I'm doing ok with my Protein & liquids. I did vomit today after I ate lunch which wS weird because I've been fine since the day after I got home...not sure what caused the upset but dinner stayed down. I am able to go on real food by Thanksgiving but honestly I'm not rushing it. I do not enjoy eating at all anymore, I guess that's a good thing. I think I miss ginger ale and crunchy stuff like tortilla chips the most. My taste buds have completely took a turn. Oh and I have to put a top on my cup to drink protein, the smell disgusts me like I'm pregnant. I look forward to the weeks ahead as my weight is coming off so well. Excited about when I can start working out. Most of all you can already see a change in my body...I love my sleeve. No regrets!!!

Ladies I am so sorry everyone is having insurance drama. I am 7 days post op now and in the healing process but let me tell you that I have been on this journey for almost a year...January would have made a year. Aetna was my 1st insurance and they flat out denied me, they really don't like paying for this surgery and I was paying about $700 out if pocket for my plan. I was thoroughly disgusted...I dropped them and later lost my job, ended up with medical assistance and a MCO called Priority Partners who have me way less drama and approved me back in September after a peer to peer. They take good care of me, even sends a nurse to check on me twice per week. Stay positive, things will work out soon. And again I'm so sorry for the road blocks some insurances put up. It's awful.

I pray your right..I had to force myself not to cry yesterday...getting the smallest sip not to churn like poison is hard. I immediately get nauseas and dry heave. Any rating suggestions? Oh and Jello and crystal light are just too sweet,..do nasty to me now, so glad I only have 6 more days of full liquids then I can try puréed.

So I'm 5 days post-op, very nauseas and refluxie..it s rough. Please pray for me, I just got home today, praying for a speedy recovery!!! Thanks guys!

So I just got home..was sleeved 10/30. I'm very exhausted, nauseas, and refluxie..please pray for me..this is tough. I'm spitting every 5 minutes like a pregnant person....Yuck.

So guys I am 4 days out if you count surgery day. I am still in the hospital because I also had a cystic mass removed from my belly that was much lower than the sleeve incisions. I'm doing ok.. Just gas, soreness and a bit if nausea. They also had to give me a few doses of Benedryl because I was itching so bad from the pain Med's. I get a heparin shot a few times per day in my stomach as well because I am high risk for clotting. I am getting down about an ounce per hour of liquid but it makes me so nauseated . I should be going home tomorrow no later than Monday...because you just don't sleep in the hospital. Hope my twin Sleevers doing great as well.

Me too..walking is a breeze . They took my catheter out earlier..so I'm going alone too.

had surgery today too..dry everything as ell, but was kinda prepared for this. No ice chips just water swabs to keep me from completely losing my mind. I'm so sluggish..

Hey guys I did it!!! Im sleeved!!! Surgery went well I'm in recovery now waiting for my private room to be cleanest So far not much pain from the SLeeve incisions but the cyst removal incision is a b***h'! Getting great care & pain Med's tho..the staff here is awesome. I can't believe it's finally done. I got the hiccups for a bit but I just held my breath and they went away. Thanks goodness!! I'm so happy u made thus decision..over the moon!!!! See you all on the losers bench. Ps, I'm high on pain meds right now so excuse my errors

Getting my IV and Compression Stuff on..so excited!!!

Well guys..in less than 12 hours I will be getting sleeved..I'm excited, nervous and a bit anxious. My surgery is a double procedure..I have to have a large mass removed as well so I have to have an incision at my bikini line,,a large one ta boot, so I think my nerves a little crazy because of that part. Oh well God has me so all will be fine. Guess I'll gulp down some more liquids before midnight. Goodnight guys!!!
