Houston, Oct 3rd..... Pre Op Visit is Sept 25... UHC approved!!! Weight is 260 and goal is 130....

My doctor is the chief of surgery there..

I have my post op sept 25 and go in for surgery oct 3rd.. I already bought my membership for 24 hour fitness and planning my year workout...

I'm in Houston. Not familiar with that doc.. Have you started to lose weight yet?

You should get your approval in a few days. It only took 4 days for mines.

I am so excited and prayer has made every thing go in a right way... After being nervous about what I need to pay...my total payout for surgery is $1750. Thank you GOD. My new life begins on Oct 3rd and my pre op for surgery is Sept 25th...I am so excited

Thanks Angie I was informed that I would know Thursday. I am excited and I am no longer going to worry or have fear about it. I am going to let it go and give it to God. It's out of my hands and control. God please take care of this matter for me.....waiting for Thursday... Seems like when your going through the motions with this process it gets lengthy. You defiantly have to have patience.

This is so overwhelming because I already have to pay $1750 to my doc and then I have this hospital which I should find out on Thursday what my financial responsibility is. I am praying that it is reasonable. I have been going through the motions for 6 months now and I am finally here. I have a date which is in 30 days...ugh

I have UHC plus. I just got my date a few ago for Oct 3. My benefit is 10k max. That does not cover hospital stay. How much did you guys have to pay total for 1 night and what was the minimum you had to pay before surgery?? Please help just a little nervous. Nothing is to big for God.

I feel the same way scared.. I talk to God day in and day out about this surgery...I know God will watch over me and all of you while we are sleep for that short period of time. We got this. Have faith!!

Thanks for all of your words of encouragement. Hearing your testimonies excites me. I can't wait..no pre op diet. Trying not to do any food funerals. Instead I'm trying to change my bad eating habits. So excited. I should have a date by Friday.

What was your weight loss and in what time frame. How much did you loose?

Thanks praying to Jesus to watch over me... I am so excited.. I'm at 250.... Goal weight is 130... Is it possible to loose that much weight off the sleeve? My Doc said 90.

I can't wait until I can meet my old self again. Looks like I could be getting sleeved within 2 weeks. I got my approval Friday. Now I'm planning exercise regimens and Just thinking about how I am getting my health back, looking great and the self confidence I will have again. When you look great you feel great.

There are many different plans available through UHC plus. I have completed my 6 months and recently gotten approved. Just waiting for docs office to contact me and get me scheduled in. Optum health is great they work to get you approved.

Your the 2nd person to say they found out today, Sunday. I found out I was approved Friday. Hope I can have surgery by the 15th.
