  1. I'm losing about 3 to 4 pounds month now. Slow going.
  2. 30 pounds in three months. Surgery weight 224.
  3. Anybody tried the PB2 cookies that just have eggs, PB2 and Splenda? Wanting to try them but also don't want to waste my PB2 if they are nasty.
  4. My sleeve's name is Stella. So when husband and I are in social settings and the sleeve is giving me issues at times I just say "I heard Stella wasn't feeling well." That's the cue we need to go.
  5. I'm five weeks out. Drank a glass of wine. Took hour and a half. Wasn't tipsy at all. Just took a while to drink it.
  6. I think we need a slow losers club. I would certainly be a member. I'm disappointed too. I thought I would lose a lot more quicker. I'm eating about 700 calories a day and appears I'm on track to lose 2 pounds a week. I know that's considered good in most circles, but after going through such a drastic surgery I thought it would be a better number. I knew it would slow up after a while too. Oh, well. Thanks for posting. Makes me not feel so alone.
  7. I'm a month out and I eat between 600 and 700.
  8. Just eating a biscuit and it's wonderful!!! Going to make a pizza crust out of it next.
  9. Mug/coffee warmer. I bought some tiny dishes that fit on it so my food doesn't get cold.
  10. Sleeved October 9. Have lost 10 pounds first three weeks.
  11. I'm 2 1/2 weeks out. I get in all my water, 60 grams of protein or more and average 600 calories or so a day. Have just started mastering that.
  12. Wow. I was on soft foods at one week out.
  13. Took me over a week for BM. They said at ER that the pain meds can cause that. I was taking pain meds every four hours. That puts everything in slow motion. Take some children's Tylenol or Motrin. That's what I did. Threw that hydrocodone away!!!!
  14. Yes you are normal. I thought I was dying in so much pain. It was gas. I even slept sitting up because getting up and down was so painful. I even went back to emergency room I was hurting so much. Nothing wrong except gas. Plus I kept on with the pain meds which made it even worse. When I found out how bad the pain meds were I stopped immediately.
  15. Thanks for posting Bea. It seems most of the posts you read everybody drops tons of weight and fast. I'm about like you are. It's depressing.
  16. I'm with you. I lost 6 1/2 in two weeks. Slow loser I guess.
  17. Best to you too!!! I can't wait.
  18. Thanks so much for posting. Congratulations!!!!
  19. Doctor is only about 4,000 of your total cost. Anesthesiologist about 2,000. Hospital the rest. Gives you a realistic starting point anyway.
  20. That sounds terribly high. I'm self pay and using one of the best rated in Texas for less than 14,000. Found out the doctors aren't the big expense. The hospital is.
  21. I'm October 9. Lets try to stay in touch.
