  3. Hey Everyone I am 6 weeks post op today and down 47lbs from my Highest Weight, I have been having iced coffee from my Keurig the 'Green Mountian' French Vanilla with Sugar Free Sweet Creamer about twice a week... is coffee really that bad? I dont feel sick or any pain sipping on it. I actally look forward to it as a little treat. Any Veteran Sleevers know any long term issues with some iced coffee here and there?

  7. Hey everyone, I am 5 1/2 weeks post op and I have hit my 2nd stall. I have lost a great amount of weight 45lbs as of this morning. I can eat anything at this point which is good and bad... I am starting to crave junk food again and sweets. And I am always hungry I gave in yesterday and had two Burger King Buffalo chicken Strips and a bite of a Wopper Jr... And gave the rest to my fiancé ...But that's it. I think I need ideas for meals... I am getting so bored with chicken, chicken, and chicken. I needed something else. Anyone having this problem? I also want to start working out at 6 weeks out (once my Doctor OKs) as far as workouts go... Anyone have any tips for starting off 6 weeks post op? Thanks guys! Happy Hump Day
  8. Hey everyone I was sleeved 8/12/13 Starting Weight: 304 pre op Day of surgery: 287 Current weight: 262 Goal weight: 170-180 Height: 5'9 1/2" Diet: I can eat pretty much anything at this point but I make smarter choices... I usually have 1 pure Protein shake in the AM then healthy Snacks and liquids till lunch and I usually have chicken breast, or any lean protein... Then healthy snacks and liquids till dinner and then I have a Protein shake or lean protein depending on how I feel. Pain: no pain since day 4... Walking around and rest helped most I finally am starting to adjust and feel normal again... As far as eating goes. At first I was going crazy on the liquid and puréed stages but now I really take the time to savor each bite My only problem right now is how I feel about my appearance... I know I have lost weight but I still feel the same no matter what. but I am looking forward to getting down to the 250s soon and that will be a milestone for me. Cheers everyone!
  9. Hey everyone, I was sleeved on 8/12 and am doing pretty good down 42lbs so far. I am reaching out to see if anyone is from SoCal. I am 25yrs old from Orange County, CA. Cheers!!
  10. Sleeved on 8/12 started at 304lbs down to 265lbs. I am tolerating meats and solids. I can't wait to start working out to speed things up. I enjoy lean turkey, grilled chicken and making crystal light slushes in my magic bullet for liquids. My only problem so far is falling asleep at night... I don't know why I can't fall sleep... Maybe I should log off now it's 2am haha cheers

  13. I am one week out tomorrow and I feel so good. I have lost 16lbs since last Monday evening. I don't take my pain meds anymore as of Thursday. I also feel the itchy starting on my incisions but I've heard it's a normal sign of healing. I can't wait till I can start introducing new foods because I get bored easily. Any stage 1 liquid diet ideas?
