  6. Tholland congrats on your pending surgery , I will get my surgery date next Wednesday and I am praying that I get a quick approval like you as well, I was informed by my insurance company that there turn around is 48 hours so here is keeping my toes as well as fingers cross, I look forward to reading your progress.
  7. Thanks for sharing and you have the right attitude do not let this delayment set you back , take what ever test you have to and resubmit and get on with your new life.
  8. I have not had my surgery yet but your fears are real, but I would focus on the procedure itself and take one day at a time because your eating habbits as well as taste will changed. From what I have read and research it will be impossible for you to eat like you are now. Good luck.
  9. Our coordinator informed us that if we gain any additional weight that out surgery will be cancel, especially if you gain more than your start weight they will cancel your surgery and they have. I would focus on making good food choices and ensuring that you do not gain more than your original weigh in amount. Because all doctors are different and have different requirements, you never know. I do know that I was given a specific amount of weight that they wanted me to loose from day one which was 20 pounds, because they want to see if you are willing to make the changes and commitment to this lifestyle change. I ensure that I do not go over my allowed calories and find my self asking when I do eat am I hungry and counting calories on everything. I also have found out with me drinking close to 64 ounces of water everyday yo are not quite as hungry because you are filled up on liquids.
