It sounds like you have a great support system with your family and friends , you are doing good and making good choices, this is a learning experience that is positive because you are learning about you as well as getting healthy everyday. Congrats on your choice to be healthy.Keep up the great work my friend.

Hi I agree with the above statements as long as you are following your doctors orders and drinking you will be fine, I am 15 days post opt and I was taking in between 300 -400 calories per day, I have not been tired and besides a little back pain I feel great. Good luck and as always if you still are concern contact your doctor.

Remember my friend that although the scale is not moving as long as you are following your doctors orders you will loose, also you may be losing inches not weight, stay focus and positive and take one day at a time, please remember you did not gain weight all overnight and you will not loose it overnight. Good luck.
  4. Hi is it possible that you can make an appointment with your primary doctor and get a referral for a bariatric doctor? Are you willing to sleeve if you can be converted over to the sleeve or bypass?Sending you prayers and please look into this with your doctor and good luck my friend.

  10. I agree with everyone statement above you want to be healthy and at the same time beautiful, it is amazing how better you feel after having your surgery it is like the true you has emerge. I am 15 days post opt and have lost 26 pounds I am looking forward to having a collar bone again , I want my beautiful face to match my beautiful body. Congrats to everyone who has made the choice to be healthy and if your underline beauty comes out , you have earned it.
  11. Congrats to you both I cant wait to see the same results you have and for those insensitive people who ask personal questions s well as make inappropriate comments , I would tell them simply thank you for your concern but I love the way I look I am healthy.

I agree with the above statements listen to your doctor and trust me although your food choices changes you still can not eat a lot, 1 cup of applesauce lasted me a week. your stomach is so small and I agree make sure you watch what you eat and remember to chew t least 30 times i learned the hard way as well one day i chewed my chicken so well I had no problems , today I ate the same chicken and didnt chew a piece well enough and I experience pain, leading me to puke sorry TMI but once that happened I felt better , it was just a reminder to chew chew and chew. good luck.

Congrats you are doing excellent I am only 2 weeks out and I am looking forward to loosing weight I have lost 25 pounds so far since surgery and looking forward to more it is hard getting in my Protein because I am so sick of Protein shake I have been drinking them for 9 months, I can not drink anything cold only warm. Keep us posted your post is very inspiring.
  17. My journey I was told by my surgeon that that is common after surgery it's a side affect.
  18. Hi I started my vitamins day 4 after I had my surgery am now 13 days post opt feeling great with the exception of back pain.
  19. Heating pad that's what my surgeon gave me heating pads for my incision sites.
  20. From start to finish 9 months but so well worth it.
  21. Stay focus restart your diet and take one day at a tine, you can do this , the surgery is so worth it and being healthy is worth it. I'm 12 days post opt and have lost 25 pounds already good luck and keep us posted .
