  1. I am feeling so down today. I didnt weigh myself all week hoping that by breaking myself from weighing everyday I would be happier seeing results just once a week. However the scale has not moved since last week. I am doing everything I should be doing plus walking a lot. I even walked 3 1/2 miles in an hour & 1/2 on tuesday & the scale is at a stand still. I know to expect stalls but my stall was last week. I did not want to still be in it. Sorry just venting a little. I only had surgery 3 weeks ago as of yesterday & only lost 21 lbs then gaoned back like 4 of those lbs while still on the liquid stage now I have been on the pureed stage for a week & nothing happened. I just want to cry :'( I thought I would have been down more then just 21 lbs by now. I can not help but feel like this surgery was a total waste. I know I will he happier if/when I see more pounds dropping off & see a difference in my inches, which have not moved much either. But for today I am depressed.
  2. Congratulations!!!!!! You look fantastic!!!!!
  3. There is a forum started by people who had their surgeries in july. It is under july 2013 sleevers. You might want to check that one out I was sleeved july 18th 2013. When was your surgery?

  5. I know exactly how you feel about feeling depressed because you have noone that has been through it & noone understanding. That is exactly how I feel. I have my parents & my ex husband as support & lots of other family & friends but noone who has had this struggle or this surgery that I can sit down & talk to & who can say "I understand, I have been there myself" I do have a family memeber who has been dieting & busting his butt for 18 mths now & has lost 170 lbs on his own & he has been great to talk to but he lives so far away & still he has not had the surgery to know what types of things I am experiencing. He can stop what he is doing & do what he feels like when he feels like & then go back to dieting when he wants. This is a permanent life changing choice we have made, there is no changing our minds & going back to the way we used to be. But that is why this forum is here for us, to help us. I just wish there was a place to go to meet with people like us near where I live. We have a once a month support group @ our local hospital but sometimes you need more then that. Plus it is only an hour long & almost never have time to talk about what may be going on with you & get any feedback from others in the group.
  6. Thank you very much everyone. I am going to look online for them today
  7. Where does everyone get the premier protien shakes from? I have not been able to find them at all
  8. Praying for yoyr husband please keep us all updated on how he is doing. Stay strong & keep faith!
  9. I have been stuck @ 300 lbs for the past few days really have to try to stop weighing myself everyday especially now that the weight is not moving as quickly. Trying to stay positive as I know stalls are to be expected. Just did not think it would be at 2 weeks out. I can not conplain to much though as I did lose 21 lbs since my surgery on july 18th, well actually since the day I came home which is when I started weighing myself. I wish everyone the best!!!!
  10. Trust me they knew exactly how I felt for several days. .

  13. I believe we are supposed to try to stay with things that have protien in them & stay away from the carbs... as far as sodium goes I dont know.
  14. I was sleeved on july 18th & as of today I am down 21 lbs since the say I came home from the hospital!!! I am so happy & excited!!!! Today was the first day I was able to hace a scrambled egg & it was so good, was only able to get in like 5 small bites before feeling like that was maybe more then enough. I have also began walking for 30 to 40 minutes a day around my neighborhood. Today I walked up 4 hills without losing my breath I am so proud of myself!!!!! I wish everyone great success with your sleeve & keep up the great work everyone!!!!
  15. Yes very much so. I used to hate going to the doctors & being asked to step on the scale. I always would say I was such & such a weight the other day at my other doctors so I dont need to get on it & they would say ok. I am happier to be addicted to the scale & not food anymore either that is a huge plus.
