Rate of Loss. 6 Month Weight Loss Metrics For Info/Comparison
Eh? I didn't see that. Who has lost 80lbs in 4 months? I personally think the BMI thing is interesting... It appears that everyone stalls at the same stages of the BMI reduction journey. Irrespective of the weight they're at when they hit those BMI points. Its like the body calibrating. Very interesting. Someone call a scientist! And don't go to Maccy-D's. It tastes like dog poo. Literally.

struggling to have support and understanding...
You are not alone. There are hundreds of us on this website! You are alone in making this decision - but all adults are. You have a husband that loves and supports you. What more do you need? Zone out the noise, listen to your heart, get cuddles from your husband and make this decision for yourself and stand by it. Don't seek the affirmation and approval of others. They're not living your life for you after all. Deep breaths and learn to be comfortable and secure in your own decision making skills - in whatever direction you choose. Best of luck:)

Skin feel crawly?
Its probably the come-down of the painkillers and the anesthetic leaving your body. Try and get loads of water in and it will flush it out soon enough.

I think you're doing better than us, my dear. 2 points of BMI is a big difference at 6 months. I guess that's what's worrying me. I certainly hope I hit the BMI 24. 161lbs would put me at BMI 23 on the nose. I think that might be better - or though much much harder to achieve at this rate. I'm wondering if my PCOS has a part to play in all this.....

Rate of Loss. 6 Month Weight Loss Metrics For Info/Comparison
I really can't see the progress that much, I realize it's in my head, but still..... I hope I'm not putting the tape in the wrong place, because then I would have the fabulous 12.5 inch neck...jelly? I don't see the progress in myself, either. Went to a do the other night and hated the way I looked. I thought I'd be smaller than I actually was. It made me a little sad. Also made me wonder whether when and if I hit goal, whether I should actually try for the 161 - because I don't think 173 will give me the result I'm looking for. I dunno. Its hard, all of this 'in our heads' business....

You look fabulous. I can't see how your hips haven't decreased, because in the pictures, you're looking much much smaller. Sure you're not putting the measuring tape in the wrong place?!!

I love data, me! It is interesting - we have very similar stats. I used to have MyFitnessPal, until I lost my smartphone two weeks ago. Hurrumpf So, based on your data, I should hopefully hit my target by the end of the year. That would be very cool.

The figures are looking good. Out of interest, what's the column in the far right for and how tall are you? I want my neck to go down to 12 inches! Waaaaah! I have a mans neck!

Thanks, babe. I did it because I knew there'd be times when the scale wouldn't move - and for my sanity, I needed to see something - anything - going in the right direction. Inches lost made me feel better about things. I am just really sad and love data!

Rate of Loss. 6 Month Weight Loss Metrics For Info/Comparison
As sometimes data on rates of loss are sometimes thin on the ground, I thought I'd share mine for you all. I am 5ft 10. I started at 250lbs. Day of surgery, I was 243.83. BMI 35.3 I am 6 months and 8 days out (including today) since surgery. As you will see (and I hope it brings a little reassurance to some), that although my scale is a little on the slow side in comparison to others, that the numbers (on the scale and on my body) are moving in the right direction. Stalls and all! I am trying to reach 173lbs. This will give me (for the first time since I was 18) a normal BMI of 24.8. As it stands of today and based on the above figures: 250lbs Starting 192lbs Current - Loss 58lbs BMI 27.8 173lbs Goal - 77lbs total loss required 58lbs / 77lbs = 75.3% of Excess weight lost 19lbs to go! (31lbs if I want to get to my lowest weight ever, although I'll re-evaluate this when I hit 'normal' ) Now, I'm just hoping that my window of opportunity isn't about to slam shut! Would really appreciate any viewpoints on rates of loss during the 6 months- 1 year mark? Hope the above has allayed some fears and provided a bit of confidence in your own rates of loss, all you sleeve-superstars out there! Revs x

Sex?
I think the sensible answer to this, is 'when you both feel ready'. Slow and steady wins the race - in all respects!
-
can we say .. EMBARRASSED!
You can wear your knickers - don't worry. Just your bra will have to be removed. If you tell them, they'll be cool about it.

2 awesome NSV'S!
Very very groovy

Less then 5 ft away
Urrgh.. I really detest people like that. Head up, shoulders back and carry on, darlin'. These people are just leaves off a fall tree, blowing away in the breeze. You, will be left basking in the sunshine, my sweet x
