Hace 2 semanas llame y ise la cita y me la dieron para Aug 26 pero dijo q me va llamar si algien cancela antes de 26..le pido a dios q si...de ahi me van a decir todo lo q tengo q hacer para despues darcelos a el seguro y esperar q me aprueven...espero q despues de la primera cita todo sea rapido..tengo histora de mi peso desde 2007..espero q lo q tengo sea suficiente yo vivo en FL...unas de mi mejores amigas se acaba de mudar a NY esta viernes

Thanks No I haven't even went to my first appointment yet...it's not until Aug 26th.. but the office lady said she will call me if someone cancels before Aug 26th... I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Oh really.. mine just says: Physician-supervised diet must be documented within the last 2 years prior to approval. But I do have doctor documents showing obesity from 2007... I have them ready for my first appointment.

Your welcome! My insurance UHC has a few requirements (physician supervised attempts to lose weight, Psych eval etc) I have to complete before they approve my surgery.

Thanks! My UHC insurance requirement says: Physician-supervised diet must be documented within the last 2 years prior to approval. The ladie at the surgeons office said I needed 6 consecutive months.. but that was before I faxed her my insurance requirements print out off my UHC website.. So she said to bring the documents with me to the first appointment and she will confirm if it will be sufficient & she will give me an outline of the appointments (psych eval, dietary visits etc) they wish for me to complete prior to surgery. So I guess I will find out at that time. I really hope the process after the first appointment goes fast.

Hello everyone, I am a 33 year old mother of 2 living in FL. I have been watching so many Post Op videos on YouTube and reading a lot about the sleeve. I am so eager to have this done... I am ready to be healthy, be happy and enjoy life. I have UHC .. I collected all my doctor monitored weight loss attempts these past few years and also weight watchers weight loss sticker booklet. I really hope this will cover the physician supervised diet requirement. I have my first appointment with my surgeon Aug 26th.. it so far away I was told they will contact me if someone cancels their appointment to get me in before Aug 26th.. I really hope someone cancels. I want to get to the approval process already. I do have a question... Has anyone lost their hair? if so .. when did it start and when did it stop.. I am terrified
