I just cant believe how many overweight people are on Effexor ???? Is there a common denominator ? Hereditary factors ? Wow !@!@!@! It really makes you wonder doesnt it ??? Rose :rolleyes

I am on Effexor too. The day after surgery I was opening them and putting them in yogurt on a spoon - after throwing up twice, I phoned my centre. Since then I have been taking 375 mg. in the mornings. I take each one very slow and drink. I have been banded three months ago and I have had 4 FILLS. No problems so far.... I

I would say ditto for me. But I did not have any gas pain or any pain for that matter. But just in case, you may want someone to stay with you for lifting the babes. Dont rush it, you want to heal properly.

Yes, yes, yes. What is the purpose of losing if you cant eat anything ???? You have small children and you need your energy. Also, I would not wait, get it checked and you will feel better. The throat?? I am not so sure. But it will be probably better to drive for an hour and get it checked out, afterall, it is your health....!!!! Take care....Rose:) :car::car:

I hear what you are saying, and I hear what everyone else is saying, but do not be too hard on yourself. I am sure a few people have cheated (me included), but remember why you are doing this and keep reading the postings, I found they help. By the way, I have lost pounds since August - not too bad. Just remember to get right back on that horse again. Good luck !

I am sure it wont be a problem. The surgery is very professional and I am sure they can accommodate you in this situation. I would not worry at all. If you are worried, call the nurse before hand and discuss it if it will help.

My first fill was 5cc., my second was 1cc, my third was 1.5 cc and on Wed. I will get my fourth...I can still eat quite a bit right now. I am losing on average 1.5 pounds a week- but again, can eat too much. Have lost 28 pounds since Aug. Not too bad, but I have so far to go....another 60 to go....Good luck !! Rose :whoo:

Hello Cindyinlv, I have had endo for almost 18 years...I can write the book on endo, just right not this minute. I KNOW where you are coming from.... When I turned 40, I finally had a full hysterectomy ( no menopause symptoms at all) , totally feel fantastic - best thing I ever did for myself. Now, at 41, I am lapbanded and feel even greater....I was banded Aug. 17th. The port is under the skin, not placed internally. Perhaps your endo is spreading. Mine was at stage 4 - very severe.
