  2. Girl, I am to be banded Aug. 17th, and I am so with you.... I love all foods...Any my problem has always been portion size. I eat healthy, very healthy I cant just have a chicken leg, or a small steak....Get the picture? I would pick steak and lobster over any dessert!! But, with the band, I want to have only a chicken leg or a palm size piece of steak.. I know I will eat properly, just half the portions.... I am a little sad too, saying bye to all my food friends, especially my FRESH BREAD!!!! But I know that once the pounds start going down on the scale, I will be jumping up and down with glee!!! Rose S. And

How do you survive for the two weeks? My procedure is booked for Aug. 17th.

  7. Am Looking for Toronto and Durham Lapbanders for tips and inspiratinal stories! To be banded August 17th. Worried about preop diet. Also, worried about procedure. Rose
  8. Post op help? My port is exactly where its not supposed to be. That very morning I even marked an 'X' where Dr. Yau should put it, and then I realized its exactly where it should not be. I keep banging that area of my abdomen on certain places, OUCH !!! Should I tell him now or later?? P.S. Maybe DonnaD or Weenette could swing by my place if you are attending the luncheon in September at Shep. & Bayview ??? I just forgot the date though.... Rose [/img]
  9. I am so new to this. I am to banded in August. Too nervous at this point. Am real nervous about the preop diet.Mmmmm, cottage cheese and yogurt, OMG I am going to die! Anyway, I am from Toronto. Actually, I went to the Toronto clinic June 20th, and met a really neat lady from Whitby. I was from Pickering. I have the short dark hair. We really got along and found you very inspirational. But dont have your name or email. You were in the waiting room resting after your fill. When I came out from the office, you were gone. Would you be interested in emailing? My name is Rose. Are you around?
