  3. HAIR LOSS IS REAL! I had a full head of hair and I am just realizing why my hair has thinned tremendously! It is because of the sleeve! I totally forgot this could happen and just recently cutt most of it off. It thinned so bad in the front. SMH. So, it happened to me, I am not sure if everyone may go throguh the same things.
  4. Wow, I am sorry to hear this. But I am curious to know what is the plan now. I had my surgery and after, the doc called my mom and told her that I had thae largest stomach he had ever removed. He also told her my liver was enlarged, and it will go back to its normal size after I loose some weight. Keep your head up. Set your mind as if you had the surgery, and do the same things to help you loose. You can do it!
  5. I am gald to see someone is eatting soups. After a hard go with this nd a week in the hospital, I was told to ease my way up to food....that was 3 weeks ago. I just ate a few mashed potatoes and got them to stay down. So this has encouraged me to go back to my soups and broth and be ok with it.
  6. This is funny. I had surgery 7/2 and I have atempted to drink twice wince then. 2 sips and a snap and I was done! 2 sips do u hear me! I was feeling way to nice for 2 sips. I guess now I will wit a few months then try again lol

  8. OMG... I AM ALL OVER THE PLACE! I sleeved on 7/2/2013, and I am miserable, until this morning I got up playing dress up, in a suit I bout over a yr ago and it was so cheap I said, Ill loose the weight. I have lose about 41 lbs. Now, that is all and well but dang, I can not keep nothing down, I hate the taste of any protein crysatl light mix, and I have had no protien in almost 3 weeks! My skin is chainging, I am not getting enough rest and those darn vitamins. Now I was well prepared for this surgery, all the info that I needed, so I thought. Nothing could prepare me for how I feel inside. You would had thought, she should be happy, she is fitting in her clothes, but I feel miserable. I need to get this protein in, I want to eat, but my doc is telling me I am still healing. I thought I was ready for the life change but I keep looking at crock pot reciepes. Ill cook a egg and even that comes up, I chew chew chew and sip sip sip and all I can keep down is water and tea! UGGGHHHHHH. WTH is going on!!!!!! Emotionally I am a mess. (sitting at my desk with my head on my keyboard). ALL OVER THE PLACE!
  9. Hello everyone!!!!! I had my surgery July 2nd.....and today, I am feeling like it is the worst thing I ever did. I am in week 6 and I can not eat much of anything. Water and a little tea here and there is my food it seems. I did speak with my doctor about it last Friday and he seemed not to be worried. I want to eat so bad, but no matter what I eat and how slow I eat it....it comes up, little at a time. So I just decided, forget it. At first I was very tired and pale. No energy, but I guess because of my Vitamins I have my color back and I am able to walk the halls of the Pentagon. I am miserable. He told me to stick to my pureed diet, I told him, I DONT EAT!!!!!!!! Now, I have tried yogurt, applesause, I did the broth thing for awhile, and now that is so gross I cant keep that down! SO my weight at the time of surgery was 272lbs. Now I am at 236lbs. Let me ask others, is this good weight loss, should I had lost more by this time? Is there something you can tell me to try that I can put on my tummy? What am I doing wrong? PLEASE HELP!
  10. These are great ideas! I am in day 1 of my pureed food week. Week 3 that is. I am wondering what to eat, i have bought a few soups. The tomato was not so good. I want to eat something good. I put the squash soup back thinking it would not be so well. I am a person of taste, but I learning that it sometimes doesnt work. I am just so tired of broth. I even wanted to try deviled eggs, is that stretching it?
  11. Did anyone try it, I am going to make it next week
