  10. I had my last appointment of my six month program (per insurance) this past Wednesday. They should have submitted to insurance. They are expecting a week or two for approval then on the 22nd I go back to review everything and start the liquid diet. Surgery is schedule for February 6th. I have been at the gym for about a week now. And have lost about 3 lbs a month during the six months. Except December, lol , I only lost one lb. coffee is the hardest to let go of!!
  11. So has it hit you guys yet? My friend just asked if I was anxious and I'm surprisingly calm. But of course it hasn't hit me. Surgery day will be here before we know it
  12. I went through a 6 month program per insurance. Surgeons office scheduled ALL of my appointments on the first one. Last week I realized surgery was scheduled for Feb 10 but decided to changed it to Feb 6. My last appointment is jan 8 then they r giving insurance 2 weeks for approval. Jan 22 I should start liquid diet.
  13. I have an app on Wednesday and last app on jan 8. Hoping for February 10 surgery!! So excited! Been a long six months but it finally seems very close. I'm glad this thread was started!!
  14. DANG GIRL!!! You look so hot! I'm also 4' 11" sw 215.Its so awesome to see someone with the same stats! Congrats! Can't wait to get to where you're at!!!
  15. I think it all depends in the psyc you see and the program you're in. Try not to stress too much over it. I didn't realize I had my appointment with her till 3 days before. Everything is in house so when I have an app with them I see the NUT the doc and that time the psyc.
  16. That's the one thing I started to push on today. I know they want me to do the in home test and depending on that one they will send me out or not. She said there is a list for the machine to take home so I asked her to make sure my name is on there. Don't want to sleep test to hold me back
  17. That's great!!! I have another 4 months because of insurance but I'm being patient
  18. Took only 20 min!!! Super easy and she told me I passed! Her only concerned is that I need someone more supportive that my husband. She explained support is not only him being ok with the surgery but also him being able to adapt to the changes I'm making. Never thought of it that way. I just found out she has a support group 2 x a month and thinks I should bring the hubby so he can understand a little better. Just thought is share
  19. OMG I thought I was the only one!!
  20. I haven't been sleeved yet but I had a c section and my gallbladder removed in the same month. I used a pillow wedge I purchased at babies r us. Helped a ton for support!!! Just lay on your favorite side and tuck that sucker in between the bed and your stomach. It wasn't very expensive and came in a neutral color. I guess its used for when pregnant bellies get too heavy but using it after two surgeries worked just as well for me
  21. Lord knows I love my mom but he also knows I knows how nutty she could be. I wanted to be able to explain to her why I am doing this. It's not longer about looks. My body completely feels horribly sick. Although I didn't get the chance I feel that would have helped. Hoping she will let it sink in. At the end of the day I won't let anyone talk me out of it but it should would be a lot easier to have heard her say "I'm glad you are doing this"
