Hey he's only retired not dead. There has to be a way to get intouch with him or another physican that pruchaed his practice or something. Medical records are optanable in NY for 7 years. He might be very happy to document your conversations and attempts. You never know.

You've touches so many lives in a positive way - I hope you realize what a differnece you have made. As far as snooping for personal information. We are so honest with each other with regards to the weight thing - what more could you possible want to know about each other!!! Finances, relationships, religion, sexual preference, etc. are sacrad issues that unless they are out there on the boards to be discussed. They are noones business. My opinion. Happy Friday

Hi I'm staying out of this one, But I am curious about one thing - In General. I'm very new to the world of message boards, chat rooms etc. My girlfriend has me hooked on the DIS boards - the disney web community. There are thousands of posts flying around. My guess would be this is a beyond full time position to monitor this one. A travel ageny specialized in Disney sponsors the board and I'm sure they get many more bookings from this. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Who sponsors this board???

Just kidding. I got my surgery date today. I'm so excited. I feel very in control and looking forward to using my new tool in this crazy WL journey, May 3 will be tyhe first day of the rest of my life. :cool: OK it's really happening for me. The insurance hasn't been submitted and I am a bit nervous, but the office and MD said they have never had a case from my ins. that was denied. Its a PPO and approval take a day or two. So here I am celebrating and not worring about it like a good little girl.

I suggest to make telephone calls to see if they exclude the band. If they say it's up to medical its a fights chance.

Thanks Jonathan! I needed to hear that. I've been Last suppering for six weeks and I stopped last Thurday after my last meeting with the surgeon. I am officially waiting for insurance now! I am now in a good emotional space with food. I'm trying to channel my obessive behavior to clothes. I am anxious to buy smaller sizes and Shop where the real folk do. If I could change one thing----- I would appoint a non clinical "coordinator" To help people navigate through the consults and help make appointments. I was very diligent and it still was over whelming. And I wish they checked on how I was doing with the consults. - It getsd lonely running around by yourself. Once I wentto the second appt with the staff, and Surgeon I felt a warmer and better connection. I guess they are use to people starting the process and no following through. Who Knows. MD's - I liked their education,mannerisms and skill level. It pays to bbe an educated consumer!

I had a terrific shopping experience in Kohls. Are they national?? The bra chic from vanity fair was there setting up her section. After a few crushing minutes of me not finding a good 40 D for me I asked for help. She was a braexperit. She wizzed around the floor and handed me 5 to try on. I have now three perfectly fitting bra's. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's been a loooooooooooooooooooong time. Experienced fitters are almost an existint breed, only at the exclusive lingerie shops of Medison Avenue can you still find them. I'm not squished, bouncing or bulging - go figure?
