  1. Hi Kiap and welcome! You're absolutely welcome to join...I just need one more piece of information - if you could give me the number of pounds you are hoping to lose, I'll get you added to the spreadsheet! Congrats on the weight loss so far! Sorry about that! I'm hoping to lose 170 lbs... A goal of 150. I'm 5'4" so I hope that's attainable. My surgeon said he'd be happy with 160, because then I would be 1/2 the girl who walked into his office. Also, I'm 31 and single and ready to MINGLE for the first time in my life!!! Can't wait for what the next year has to bring. No worries...I've got you all set up! You're well on your way to getting to that goal! This is an AMAZING group of cheerleaders that are all rooting for you! I'm 5'4 as well, so it'll be so exciting to get down to that goal weight!
  2. Hi Kiap and welcome! You're absolutely welcome to join...I just need one more piece of information - if you could give me the number of pounds you are hoping to lose, I'll get you added to the spreadsheet! Congrats on the weight loss so far!
  3. I've got your numbers down soccerdad, and Amyrra. I have added you to the list 1292cori! Keep those numbers coming! It's looking SO great!
  4. Woohoo, Graz everyone. Merry Christmas. About to get swallow test right now. Sleeved as of noon yesterday. Looking forward to the roxacet Merry Christmas to you too Bearman...good luck on the swallow test and congratulations on your new life!
  5. Wishing all of my December Sleeve buddies a very, very Merry Christmas. May your day be filled with special moments and lots of fun!
  6. Welcome Mooret14. I have you down on the list. Congrats on the weight loss so far, and hope you have a very Merry Christmas.
  7. I has always been told that it isn't about the calories...the focus is on the protein (which I am still struggling with). That being said, I do use My Fitness Pal, so I checked and it looks like I am eating (or drinking rather) about 670 calories a day....tomorrow I move to puréed foods so I am assuming that number might increase by a few.
  8. Hi Andrew...we're SOOOOOO glad to see you here, and hope you are recovering wonderfully! Thanks for the stats...I have them down! Keep feeling better!
  9. Welcome georgiabelle! I have your information down! Congrats on the 18 lbs!
  10. I absolutely third that recommendation....Deez is our official inspirer/cheerleader....beyond awesome!
  11. Thank you gmanbat...I get to move to puréed on Christmas and I have added eggs to the list in order to make this tasty soup!
  12. I have to edit the numbers from the other thread...had a little issue with my spreadsheet. The ACTUAL total pounds lost so far is 828.9. PHENOMENAL!!! And we even had a few newbies join! I've got you both down!
  13. Okay, this is MUCH more like it... our total pounds lost is: 828.9 That is almost 11% of our goal weight... <whew> That is much better! Keep it up...WOOHOOO!
  14. My silly spreadsheet decided it was going to act all crazy...it felt like that number was too low for the fantastic progress I have been seeing...let me put it in timeout, let it think about what it's done and then provide a much better number of pounds lost.... Bad spreadsheet.....baaaaad spreadsheet!
  15. Caligirl...I am counting the hours until Wednesday morning when that first puréed food touches my lips...my husband has the longest grocery list of various items that will be eaten for the next two weeks...I might just have to pet the food until Wednesday...hahaha
  16. I took Flinstones Complete prior to surgery, but realized how many other supplements I would have to take along with them that I opted to switch to a one vitamin a day plan. Now I am taking Opurity...you get used to the sweet tart taste (I am finally getting used to it...my face isn't all twisting up anymore...lol), but it's one of those a day and then my calcium chews...easy peasy for me...I just need easy..lol
  17. Super exciting news from the December Pounds Lost thread that I wanted to pass along over here: We currently have 61 people participating The total pounds lost goal is 7626 The first official weigh in total is: 316.4 We are at a little over 4% towards the overall goal. There's still time to join if you haven't done so and want to participate...it's such fun seeing these numbers! The thread is located at: http://www.bariatricpal.com/topic/288367-december-2013-sleever-pounds-lost-log/ Congratulations to all of you!
  18. Drum roll please....it's time for some GREAT numbers: Total pounds reported and lost: 316.4 Total goal pounds reported: 7626 We're at a little bit more than 4% towards the overall goal....and this is just for the first official weigh in! Congratulations to all of you! Keep those numbers coming!
  19. Thanks for the advisement. I was not given any meds for nausea to bring home (despite having a Scopolamine patch, and vomiting while I was in the hospital). If it doesn't get better today, I will give the good doc a call...I don't have my follow up appointment until the 30th.
  20. All very good questions ATL...thank you for responding...here are the answers... Nope...nothing new in the diet (sadly). Same slim fast, same Protein, plain water (I don't like flavored waters) and same V-8. I am relatively mobile...I get my walks in to about 30-40 minutes a day, but do spend the majority of the day in a somewhat reclined position due to some continued pain around the large incision. I have been drinking in somewhat of a reclined position...perhaps that is the culprit...tomorrow I will sit up more and see if that fixes it. Thankfully, I seem to be regular in the BM department..although it was a tad loose this morning TMI I started having to swallow the Nystatin (for the thrush) about 3 days ago...wonder if it is a delayed reaction to having to swallow that now. Thanks for the hints...I'll sit up more tomorrow and see if that works!
  21. Just curious...I am 11 days post-op and today I have been extremely nauseous when I am drinking my meals. It starts from the first sip, so I know I am not drinking too much, but just can't stomach anything today. Anyone else having that problem? It seems to have just started today...really feel cruddy
  22. Atlanta, I'm so glad to hear you are doing better. I'm sorry I haven't been keeping the list up either...I haven't been able to sit at my actual computer (just posting from my iPad) so I haven't been able to do copying and pasting. So glad to hear good news from you! Keep recovering!!
  23. I have ordered the Unjury unflavored and it should be on it's way soon! Thanks for the feedback!
