  1. Do you ever have connection problems to get into Netflix? I'm so frustrated! It worked great for 2 weeks, now it blows!

  3. I cheated and ate a Babybel cheese. 9g protein and 70 cals. I let it melt in my mouth before I swallowed it. So far no issues. The fact that I got to bite into something and chew it made me feel a little better. I've only consumed 400 cals today. I'm going to try some applesauce too. It will help so I don't get constipated from the cheese. TMI I know.

  5. Ok it's officially 7 days since my surgery. My direction is to not go to the next level of foods until 10 days. I feel depressed. I'm so over drinking. I'd like to have some applesauce or pudding or mashed potatoes. I'm having a super difficult time getting in enough calories. :-(. I seen a post where she could move on to the mushy foods by now. I don't know...maybe this is part of the process. Feeling depressed that is. I just want to sleep. I don't have the energy to get out and exercise like I know I should. Just ranting. I'll get over it I'm sure.
  6. I wonder why some have tubes and some don't. I didn't have one. I find it so interesting.
  7. I go to my forts follow up PostOp appointment later today. I hope to have good news! The dermabond on the inscriptions is slowly coming off. Only one is a lil irritated. I know I've lost weight. My clothes are already getting loose. A lot of the swelling has gone down now too. :-). Have a great day everyone!!!
  8. I just bought some. I also saw a few recipes on the website once I graduate to soft foods. :-).
  9. I'm totally convinced now. Lol. I'm buying some first thing in the morning! :-)
  10. Hang in there! I said a prayer for you. :-)
  11. I couldn't handle anything until 3 full days after surgery except clear liquids. :-). I try to burp every time I take a drink. I want to avoid the gas pains.
  12. I find it so strange how different the diet directions are for post Op patients. I asked my dietician if I could eat soft foods and she said to hold off because I'm not healed yet. I get nervous to move on to the next step, but it would be great to have more options. I wish you the best!!!
  13. Animal Protein is the best protein for our tiny tummies. I'm lactose intolerant so I do soy right now until I can eat regular foods. I asked my Dietician about Almond and Rice milk. She did not recommend it due to the need to get in the best quality protein which comes from regular low fat milk.
  14. Yes on the powder peanut butter, but no on the Unjury. I ordered it online.
  15. My Dietician told me that I should consider all liquids as part of the fluid intake. I'm 5 days out and I am doing good with water. It's the protein consumption. I can't wait until I can transition into mushy foods.
  16. Yes. I like it because you can make your own kind of drink and it doesn't need to be super sweet. I add stevia to my sweet level. I've tried adding it to soup....no bueno. Lol
  17. It's an unflavored protein powder. I bought in online.
  18. Congratulations!!! I wish you all the best!
  19. I'm on my 5th day out of surgery. I'm still on full liquids. :-/. I found one drink I can Stomach.
  20. Walmart in the peanut butter section. I just stumbled upon it. If you find something that works...please share. I wish you a speedy recovery! :-)
  21. Ok, so I finally found something I can stomach. Unflavored Unjury with unsweetened cocoa and low cal peanut butter powder. I can sweeten it to my liking. The peanut butter powder and cocoa mask the smell of the protein. Thank God!!!
  22. I'm only 4 days out. I'm gonna try the mushy stage tomorrow. If I can handle it...I'm sticking to it. I'd rather eat regular bland for vs. another protein shake right now. I'll drink the protein flavored waters, but "NO MORE PROTEIN SHAKES". Lol
