  1. Thank you. My hospital and the one my surgeon is going to are rivals so if I go I have to pay crazy amounts of money like 3 grand deductible and 50 percent co insurance. There is another one is my network but it's 2 hrs away I may end up going there. Funny how when they were scheduling me for all these appointments that cost me I heard back from them very quickly and now all I hear it's crickets. I'm giving them until tomorrow to email me back before I start calling
  2. I have been following with my bariatric surgeon since May and am scheduled to have surgery in December. I found out today that he is moving his practice to a hospital that doesn't accept my insurance. I emailed the coordinator to find out where that leaves me in all that mess but waiting to hear back sucks. has this ever happened to anyone? What was your outcome?
  3. My bmi is 40.005 with no comorbidities so I wasn't required to lose anything. I did lose seven pds but I think I gained a couple back
  4. I'm scheduled dec 3rd. I did my egd last week so just have two nutrition apps to attend as we'll as my last two weigh ins.
  5. Have you tried to add the soda stream flavors to reg water?
  6. My bcbs ppo just changed to this, wonder if its still covered
  7. Thanks guy! I just decided I am going to start making better food decisions like more protein, less carbs and try and maintain my current weight throughout this supervised diet.
  8. I'm also an RN. I float all throughout the hospital filling in the staffing holes. My question is did any of you get sleeved where you work? I'm a little nervous cuz I pretty much know every nurse in the hospital. Awkward!
  9. Thanks for the input. My coordinator says doesn't matter if I lose cause insurance company knows I will just probably gain it right back.
  10. At my consultation appt my BMI was 40.05. Now I have to do a 6 month diet to get approved. My question is will I get denied if my BMI drops below 40 prior to surgery?? My coordinator assures me that the starting weight is the only one that matters but I'm not sold. I don't have any comorbidities and my insurance is BCBS.
