  1. I went through those emotions myself up until the day of surgery. It is normal to be nervous and have doubts. What helped me is I work with others who had it done a year ago and people I have met and everyone gave me the pros and cons but All shared no regrets. Does that help?
  2. I have a nephew who is allergic to all dairy and he drinks either soy milk, almond milk, and rice milk. I myself am having issues with skim milk so am using soy.
  3. You need to sip water to hydrate even thougth you have no desire.
  4. I am from Buffalo myself and was Sleeved July 11 at St. Joes.
  5. For me at work sometimes I do not have time for lunch and eat on the way to a homevisit or at my desk. I will be returning soon on vacation time after medical and will be doing things differently.

  7. I too struggle with eating too fast. Does it get any easier and is it forever the having to go slow? Curious.

  10. I am a diabetic so I am used to the artificial stuff. My personal favorite it Truivia. Today is my first day using it again made decafe coffee. Will let you know later.
  11. I am still going 4-6 times per day and afraid to keep taking immodium afraid of constipation. It is annoying my poor bottom is raw.
  12. My one week is today hope you rub off on me.
  13. For protein I have been drinking Isopure water 3x per day totaling 75 grams.

  16. Ha I am an insulin dependent diabetic and the hospital surgery on Thursday and Friday was sending me home. Lucky you an extra day to be monitored.
  17. And later in the evening my diarrhea did come. Back its like on and off waiting for lab results. I am supposed to go to my brothers house for a family party and do not want to run to his bathroom. I get to watch everyone eat while I drink my Isopure or broth.
  18. I slept last night and I took nothing. I woke up a few times but was able to get 7 hours. So happy wanted to share.
  19. If you guys do a group on FB let me know so I can let you know how to find me.
  20. I plan to ask him Friday.
  21. How long does the insomnia last? Right now I am on medical but I cannot go back to work like this. What is safe to take with the sleeve. I have my post op appointment this Friday I can ask the surgeon as well.
