  2. I went to my hospital support group and someone told me about putting protein powder into sf pudding. It's good and its really increased my protein total. I was sleeved 6/25/13 and wasn't losing like I thought I should be and since I increased my protein I've started losing

  6. Had surgery on 6/25 and I'm eating tomato soup, protein shakes and sf pudding, Greek yogurt because of the small amounts of each thing, I'm not getting enough protein and have been getting up every morning feeling weak. So today I went to supplement store and got some unflavored protein to put in my soup and a new flavor for protein shakes hoping to encourage myself to eat more protein. Haven't been doing the best with drinking either. Have to step that up.
  7. Ok what's the best kind of tasteless protein powder that I could use to add to soups, etc. I'm sure you all have the best thoughts on this topic. I'm tired of drinking just shakes with protein
  8. Don't you guys think its almost like a conflict of interest with them pushing you to buy their products. Like a used car salesman, (dont want to offend anyone) Shouldn't they be more interested in your nutrition? And success? My nut gave me a list of best Proteins with where to buy them. Very helpful. I'm so sorry you've had to deal with this.
  9. Yes it sounds like me. It's gotten better though. I actually had 4 oz of protein shake this morning.
  10. Ok I had my surgery on 6/25/13 and my doctor tells me I have to have my medications, like blood pressure, thyroid, Lipitor , all crushed taken with whatever. IT IS HORRIBLE! I can barely tolerate the taste. In hospital they gave some through my IV .Those of you out there who take meds, how are you taking them?. Help
  11. Okay, I had mine done on 6/25. I'm home and don't feel that great. It sometimes hurts/uncomfortable when I take a swallow of water or protein drink. My doc says each day will get better. I'm counting on it..does anyone else feel like me??
  12. I thought this was odd too. I had the hiccups about 5 times on my day two, yesterday. I asked the nurse and she told me that its because things were messed with down there. Haven't had any today though.

  20. I am brand new here. My surgery is scheduled for 6/25. In three days. I've been on skim milk diet for almost two weeks and they finally told me I could put Nestles no sugar added chocolate mix and it makes it so much more palatable..
