I'm August 3rd in Mexico. Who is your doc?

Haha. Actually yes we are getting a little discount lol. If we had done it separately we still would have travelled with each other so more time off work and all that jazz. So this way we can "take a little couples trip" and just get it done. And the added benefit that we're on the same "diet" will make it easier I think. We're at NOVA hospital. Not many bariatric surgeons there because their OR fee is higher than the others (Mi hospital, Florence) my surgeon just started using them so not to many reviews. Star medical is the hospital the embassy uses if I remember right.?. do they do a lot of bariatrics there? We're recovering for a few days at lucerna, where will u be?

My husband and I are both being sleeved August 3rd. We worked it out that way because for us it'll be less time off work, babysitter, financially,etc. also just being in the same phases (diet wise) will be better for daily life. We've both been needing to do this for years.

Don't beat yourself up to much, you're human. I haven't started my preop diet yet but for people like us that are addicted to food 2 weeks seems like forever. That one taco won't screw up your liver. Keep your eye on the prize!

I'm in the same boat. I've planned several "food funeral" meals in my head that I want to get in before my august 3rd surgery. But like someone stated above - we can eventually take a bite or 2 of those fav foods one day so... It's just a phase. We will be in a whole new chapter soon!

mine is on august 3rd wh dr.kelly in mexico. sounds a little adventurous but my insurance wouldnt cover anything so i researched a lot and am very comfortable with my choice. When is your surgery?

I'm having my surgery with dr.kelly in Tijuana on August 3rd. ( Im from mississippi). Lots of research led me there. I have PCOS as well and struggled to get pregnant for years as well but i now have a healthy 8 month old baby boy. I got pregnant on metformin. But of course every pound lost greatly increases your chances of fertility!

I'm sooo ready. And I look forward to being skinny too(and active) , instead of being the girl with such a pretty face

I did book with dr. Kelly directly so Lora said nova hospital and Angeles for leak test like u mentioned. I read that negative thread just now and am big sure what to think about it. :/.
