  1. Was told to take sublingual B12 twice a week for life. Didn't know in the beginning I needed it and once I started taking it I noticed a tremendous increase in my energy.
  2. Didn't even know I had one until I woke up from surgery! I had a lot of swallowing problems which is why I revised to begin with. Maybe some of that was the hernia.
  3. Had Band to sleeve revision with a hernia repair all done on 8/20. Feel awesome. Dr Roslin at Manhattan minimally invasive/Lenox Hill did it and I thought he was amazing.
  4. I love Starbucks skinny vanilla lattes. I make a protein coffee that tastes a lot like that. I mix 4 oz of skim milk with a scoop of unflavored nector medical protein and a shot of torini sugar free vanilla syrup. Mix it into a cup of coffee (decaf is preferred to stat hydrated) and enjoy! Much better than one of those sickly sweet protein shakes.
  5. I too just got approved for conversion from band to sleeve after a 1 1/2 of vomiting and swallowing problems. Like Pickel, for the first 3 years, I did really well and thought the band was the answer to my problems. But when the band stops working, it creates a lot of problems, as we all know way too well. Has anyone who has already had the revision done found that you slime or vomit with the sleeve? I really hope not because I've had enough for a lifetime! But when you guys say you're uncomfortable after eating too much, what does that mean?
