So does anyone from ny know of any drs that will do band to sleeve same day? I was banded aug 2012 I lost a total of 40 pds I am sick of this band . I see now why it doesnt always work . Frustrated dieting eating way different healthier than before my band I exercise 4 days a wk and just nothing. So Iwant to have the sleeve done I hear great things but my dr don't do same day and I just want to. Anybody know of long island drs that will do??

NYU September 25th with Dr. Feilding, going from band to RNY

Had Band to sleeve revision with a hernia repair all done on 8/20. Feel awesome. Dr Roslin at Manhattan minimally invasive/Lenox Hill did it and I thought he was amazing.

What were you symptoms of a hiatal hernia?

Didn't even know I had one until I woke up from surgery! I had a lot of swallowing problems which is why I revised to begin with. Maybe some of that was the hernia.

In syracuse dr. Simon does it the someday . InUtica and Syracuse dr. Graber does it in one day and starting Jan 1st Bassett in Cooperstown will offer it as a same day surgery
