I'm 5 years post sleeve with an original loss of 100 pounds and a regain of 50 pounds. I'm getting resleeved on 4/3 due to the regain. Very excited, can't wait! My pouch stretched back out and I have little restriction now. I'm ready for my second chance at this sleeve thing

@MaddiesMomma @Feelinghopefulnow How exciting to have TWO surgery sisters! Although I'm only required to do 1 week low fat prior to surgery, I'm opting for 2 weeks to support my daughter who is getting sleeved next week. Next week I'll make sure to do even better than this week and then I have only 3 days of full liquids before surgery, not bad. I'm much more chatty on facebook than here. I was supposed to be a March Surgery (20th) but it’s now changed to April 3rd
two weeks and counting.

I’m excited and freaking out a little... lol just nerves though!
I’m ready to be past the first month! I’m not scared but just trying to get prepared. My dr only has me on a low fat before, not liquid only, so I’m happy about that. I’m ordering samples of different protein drinks and powders so I’ll have them on hand. I’ve also gotten a few groceries here and there that I’ll need for the mush phase. Pudding, jellos, cream of wheat, tuna, etc.

I was the same excited nervous but feeling a little daunted this evening as I was supposed to be having sleeve tomorrow but it’s third April now ,,, another two weeks of pre op. I’m on very low fat and hardly any carbs here too. Not ordered protein shakes/powder yet as yet as my daughter was going to go out and look about for me when she visits but I may order some now in advance. @maddiesmom @alchaley

Me too!!! I'm doing my liver shrink diet (low fat) this week and next then start liquids on 3-31.
I'm a resleever! I was originally sleeved 9\2013 and lost 100 pounds. Got down to 199! I'm 5'7" and around 250# now and am getting resleeved on 4/3! I'm 43 years old and my daughter is getting sleeved next week!

I’m 4/3!! Pre op appointment today!

I did a barium swallow to determine if my pouch had stretched out or not and it showed Yes! The amount of scar tissue created after sleeve #2 makes it impossible to stretch out again, according to my dr.
Move never heard of this Dr. Wiener but I’ll look it up.
My surgery is scheduled for April 3!!!

I was originally sleeved in 2013 and was approved through a new insurance company to be sleeved AGAIN this year!
Sadly my sleeve failed due to several major life occurrences and it stretched back out to the point that I've gained back half of the 100 pounds I had originally lost post op. Maybe I failed my sleeve, not the other way around but I'm not here to be judged. My dad died, I got divorced (and it was UGLY), fought for custody of my son (and won!), moved 3 times and then finally bought a house, was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy, got remarried and I had a heart attack all in the past 5 years!!!
That being said, I'm ready to get resleeved but I've never met anyone who has done this. ANYONE???????
My only issue is the weight gain, I don't have GERD or any reflux issues or a hernia. I'm just fat again and can't lose it back.
