  1. Left the hospital because they are tools. Will just go back Monday for the test that I need. Not happy with Albany Med at all
  2. Currently at Albany Med getting hydrated. I am dehydrated so once they hydrate me they will be doing some testing. Will keep you posted.
  3. Sleeve four month ago, October 7, 2013 and down over 100 since day of surgery.
  4. Yes, without a doubt it is 110% normal! I was the same way and when I woke up from surgery within hours was like 'all this anxiety and worrying, so wasn't worth it'. It's totally normal, it is a life changing surgery. I am four months post op and it is the best thing I have ever done.
  5. I was told by my doctor to wait 3-4 weeks unless I 'felt up to it' sooner.
  6. Misread your post, sorry. Well it seems they feel I should be able to eat more then what I am, and that I am ot 'sensative' to to much. I personally thought this was normal as from friends that have had it and through postings, but they feel it is a complication. My so called sensitivity to what I thought to be may be certain foods, seems to be a problem. Four months post op and I don't eat more then the size of a quarter, or at most half a gold ball size. They feel I should be able to tolerate more foods at this point and take in a little bit more, as well as not have a sensitivity to so many things. Only time will tell. IF my pouch is to small, then it will pretty much just have to stay at that size, if it is something else or a combination of that and something else then whatever the other part is could be fixed, such as if it was the pipe from throat to pouch that needs to be stretched then they could do that. But from the sounds of it they are thinking it's my pouch, the pouch itself or some kind of obstruction inside the pouch. Who knows, who knows :/ Jules what do you do again at the hospital? Maybe I will be seeing you with all this testing I am having going on lol. Ya never know. I will def keep you all updated. Thanks for the support Jules, Brick and Cherrie whom has sent me private messages to check on me. Best I can do is stay positive and make the best of it
  7. Honestly I thought I was. Idk, time will tell. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. I keep the chin up and try to think of a positive of everything...Eventually I'll find a positive in this lol
  8. Fiddle~ I was at my personal goal ten pounds higher lol. I am comfortable at where I am now, but with only being four months out I don't have much say.
  9. Thanks for the thoughts Brick :-)
  10. I go in Monday and then on Wednesday for more testing. Suddenly there is now something wrong which I had no clue of. They may have removed to much of my pouch, or something of that sort. Ugh :/ Had more blood work done as well. Testing all next week and when results are in they will determine if I will be admitted to Albany Medical or not, which it seems what they are leading towards. I will keep you guys posted. Once again....ugh
  11. It is POSSILBE, not confirmed that I may be having a complication with surgery. I go in today for testing at Albany Memorial at 1:30. Not going to get into it because it could be nothing and just be a worried doctor, but we will see. Wish me luck :-)
  12. Thanks Brick! That really means a lot of me!!! I'm glad your feeling better and many congrats on the weight loss!! Keep up the good work :-)

  18. ~Update~ I am somewhere where I never thought I would be. Four months ago day of sleeve I was over 250 pounds. I do not weigh myself at home, I consider the scale my enemy, so I only weigh in at doctors. Well, I am now not only in 'onederland', but then then half of it! Weighed in today at 147!!! The sleeve was and is the best decision I have ever made! Think of you guys and wishing you nothing but success!
  19. Groupon has some amazing deals. For my friend whom was there for me non stop through my surgery, pre op and post op I got her a groupon for a resteraunt, I love groupon! Lol.
  20. I would go for it. I was on protein shakes and jello day after surgery they were allowed.
  21. Your shouldn't be going back to work doing a standing job for about four weeks! Recovery is very important with this surgery as any. Take the time you need to recover. Everyone's pain threshold is different, as I personally didn't find it nearly what I expected. I expected a tremendous amount of pain and was beyond surprised of the little pain and discomfort I felt, and I'm a whimp lol.
  22. Wow! Great job! Keep up the amazing work!
  23. Cher~ With your insurance it is cake is your BMI is over 35 and you have two conditions that are a cause of obesity. That is one of the easiest insurances to get it through from my experience. When you have Medicare it's a risk, you get the surgery and then they bill it to insurance and then the insurance decides. If they don't, then patient has to pick it up. With Medicaid and fed ilia you are golden!!
  24. Great! Wishing you nothing but the best and a quick recovery! Please keep me updated on your surgery and progress. You wiling be disappointed at all once you get the Camelbak! Makes a HUGE diff when drinking following WLS.
