  1. Steph ~ If you feel like you may want to do your own little preop diet go ahead and do it, it won't hurt. Mine consisted of 24 hour liquid diet, pretty simple. I felt lucky compared to some of the pre op diets I've seen some ppl have, yikes! Lol.
  2. Three weeks out...hmmm. I was sleeved three months ago. Week three I was eating egg beaters, refrained beans, choboni tube yogurt. Sleeved on October 7, 2013, and down 80 pounds. :-)
  3. It's getting close! Your date is only three weeks away! The best change of your life is about to happen! I am looking forward to hearing your updates!
  4. Three months out and down 80 pounds. Feeling great! Everyone looks great! Keep up the good work and keep the postings coming!
  5. Ilol. Men lose faster then women, damn us men lol. You really look great though and don't you just love that are pounds are still shedding :-) lol. I'm going to try to download app now. Hmmm, I wonder how they do add the dates on the pictures...damn these smart ppl!!! Lol
  6. You look AMAZING! Like really! I wish I knew how to do the before and after pics like you do, I'm totally clueless on how to do them :-( Looking great, keep up the AWESOME work!!!
  7. Backtobard~ Me and you are sleeve buddies!!! We were sleeved the same day :-) Sleeved: October 7th, 2013 Weight at date of surgery: 252 Current Weight: 170
  8. As a male, I am 5'7 and weighed 250. I was sleeved three months ago, October 7, 2013. I now weight 170, down 80 pounds. If the surgery wasn't right for you, the surgeon wouldn't be doing it. Also, sometime people around the individual that had the weight loss surgery may view someone as being to thin or this or that just plain out because they are so used to seeing that person in a heavier form. The surgery is the best thing I have ever done. I am currently below doctors goal weight at three months out and have 5 more pounds till I reach my personal goal weight. You will be fine :-) no worries! First pic is day of surgery, second pic is current. Sleeved three month ago, October 7, 2013 Start weight: 250 Current Weight: 170
  9. Everyone is looking GREAT!!!!!
  10. Wildgrits~ Feel free to come if you would like! ANYONE is welcome!

  12. UPDATE :-) Well as the proud person that brought us local folks together I wanted to give an update on my success with the sleeve. I was sleeved just about three months ago, sleeved October 7th, 2013. My weights loss is over 80 pounds. I am very excited, happy, feel amazing, more confident, out going, and for once I feel like a 'sexy man' lol. The first couple pics are day of surgery, second set are after surgery, my current photos. Sleeved: October 7th 2013 Start Weight: 250 Current Weight: 170 Below doctors goal weight, 10 pounds till I reach personal goal weight. DAY OF SURGERY: CURRENT:
  13. I had Dr.Singh at Albany Medical Center and his practice is very strict with their guidelines. My goal before surgery was to lose about ten pounds. I lost 20, and was almost shitting myself the day before I was to get my date because I GAINED four pounds, which was by my own fault. They were fine with it. They said it happens and it would be different if I lost 20 and then gained it right back. A couple/few pounds here and there happen and are understandable. Hope this helped :-) keep us updated! Sleeved: October 7th 2013 Start Weight: 250 Current Weight: 170 Below doctors goal weight, 10 pounds till I reach personal goal weight.

  17. I use Muscle Milk, following surgery my taste changed so had to switch, so now I use muscle Milk and they have new flavors out. Good variety of flavors! Sleeved: October 7th 2013 Start Weight: 250 Current Weight: 170 Below doctors goal weight, 10 pounds till I reach personal goal weight.
  18. My pre op diet was basic, 24 hour liquid diet. Surgeons do it differently, so if your told not to worry and no pre op diet, ENJOY! Wish you the best of luck! Keep us updated! :-) Sleeved: October 7th 2013 Start Weight: 250 Current Weight: 170 Below doctors goal weight, 10 pounds till I reach personal goal weight.
