  1. I was sleeved Nov. 1 and I have lost 30 lbs. Mine isn't coming off as fast as some people. But I am eating all the right things, so I know I'm being true to the weight loss program. I am exercising the last two weeks. I joined Golds Gym for the pool. I have arthritis in my knees, hip and toes. So the water is helping. So I'll just take it slow.
  2. I also like premier Protein drinks. I am 8 weeks post op and tried many Protein Drinks and premier is the best for me. Good luck.
  3. I agree with you pjackson. I was craving a choc chip cookie yesterday and I had one. It was delicious and I'm glad I ate it. I didn't die and I am fine this morning. Like my husband said "for your sanity, you should eat the cookie". Cindy
  4. My doctor also told me not to rely on protein drinks at my 2 weeks post op appointment. But in order for me to get 60 to 80 grams of protein, I do drink a premier protein drink. I like Premier (name brand), because it has 30 grams of protein. Then I get the rest of my protein from the food I eat. Also, I have been at a stall for my weight for two weeks. I am riding it out and sticking to my protein and calorie plan. I am determined.
  5. I'm not counting calories only Protein. My doctor said at least 40 grams of protein a day. But my dietician said at least 60 grams of protein a day. I try for at least 60 grams a day. I'll have to check about the calories. I am 4 weeks post op. Cindy
  6. I'm almost 4 weeks post op and I have a least one protein drink a day and I also eat chicken, lean beef, tuna cause they give me a lot of protein. I make sure I eat protein first, then veggies, fruit and am now starting carbs. So far no problem. Good Luck!
  7. Lunaya, I am so happy for you. It was so inspiring to know you are happy and you made the right decision. I am going for my surgery on Friday, Nov.1st and it is so good to know you made the right decision. Good luck to you!!!!! Cindy
