Thanks for looking, it's smAll little goals and taking it one day at a time that help me through this tough journey, no one sAid it would be easy!!! Kim

  10. I'm 10 weeks out and I have the hiccups very often....it's not very attractive when I do it, because it sounds like it comes all the way up from the insides of my gut, and is SOOO loud, its embarrassing but also at the same time kinda funny! If I eat or drink a little fast I will get them!!! But hey everyone that I eat with knows I've had the sleeve and they are use to it now Kim
  11. I have to wait 6 MONTHS before I can have ANY kind of fresh, raw veggies!!!! I want a salad so bad!!! My NUT told me to stay away from the produce section till then!!! Kim
  12. So I'm 10 weeks out (thought I was 9 on thurs, my bad) anyway since I was released to soft fork tender foods, my head has been so messed up! I've eat more carbs than I should, I have had a few things that were "fork tender" but not really on my plan!!! I HAVE NOT HAD ANY FORM of SUGAR (like cakes, muffins, cupcakes, snack cakes etc......just so we are clear!!! I have not stalled I've continued to loss weight at a steady pace, but I know it could be more! So I'm putting this out there....my head will not win this game, my body and my new sleeve will! I loss a lot more weight when I stick to mostly low carb, high protein!!! So I'm taking my cravings and I'm going to be stronger than them!!! Like I said, steady weight loss wins the game and this is not a race, but I would rather get to the finish line sooner rather than later!!! Just my thought for the day!!! Kim Highest weight EVER 272lbs in 2004 (day I deliver twins!) Preop weight 8/2013 252lbs (sad I was only 20lbs lighter than I was preg with twins, and I gained 70lbs when I was preg) Weight 10/13/13 211lbs 10 weeks post op
  13. No my NUT told me not to worry about counting calories!!
  14. I try to stay under 40-60 carbs a day! I will eat a Greek yogurt, an egg scrambled with cheese, lunch meat and a few slices of cheese, Protein bar, Protein shake...all examples of breakfast! Lunch and or dinner...lunch meat with cheese, chicken salad, chili, chicken nuggets, any kind of meat (except steak and pork chops, not until 6 months out) pimento cheese with a few crackers, broiled fish, any kind of chicken, soft cooked veggies...I like green Beans, broccoli, etc...vegetable soup!! I can't have raw fruits or veggies until 6 months!!! Hope this helps Kim
  15. Love it!!! You absolutely get it
  16. So I'm 9 weeks out today and I'm down 41 lbs and I think most of it came from top and a little from the stomach (it is a lot flatter) but still, so now it looks like I have these large arms still (bat wings) and these nice big thunder thighs!! But I guess I can say I'm thankful for this new waist that's reappearing!!! Maybe I will go but me a few new bras with padding!?!?! LoL I guess we can't pick where the weight comes off first!! Thumbs down Kim
