  1. I know cosmetic is not covered by insurance unless deemed medically necessary. I am already thinking when I hit my goal weight I want buttock augmentation. I have a back crack lol and losing weight is really gonna make it worse..where o where did my booty go???
  2. Yes! Please give details. When does someone wear something like this? Daily under clothes or just during exercise?
  3. That is great! I was sleeved on June 24th and I feel like I haven't lost as much as I should.
  4. How much progress has everyone made? I know we will all lose differently but in three days I will be 4 weeks post op and have lost 27 lbs as of today including my 20 day preop diet. Is that bad???
  5. That is interesting. How far out are you ?
  6. I am 3 weeks post op and I have only been able to take my vitamins 2 times since surgery. Even the thought of them makes me nauseated..had any else had this issue and how Are you doing with your vitamins??
  7. Everyday gets better! I am 8 days post op and after I first came home from the hospital I stayed in bed most of the day because I just felt weak. This does pass! On day 6 I started feeling like a new person and yesterday...I can't even describe to you how awesome I felt. I can't feel my incisions anymore and it doesn't hurt to cough or breath. You will do GREAT! I know it's hard right now but just keep reminding yourself of what you are going to look like a few months down the road!!
  8. Thank you so much for the encouragement!! I just have to keep reminding myself it's nobody's business and it really is hard work after surgery. I didn't take the easy way out.
  9. I know exactly how you feel! I didn't tell my mother because she has the same mentality about it. Only my husband and best friend know. You are sooo right! The 4th is coming and I'm still on liquids :-( Not the easy way out by any means.
  10. WOW! You are doing AWESOME!!!! Yeah, I'm sure they are suspicious. Oh well, we didn't do it for anyone other than ourselves, right!?
  11. I have kept my surgery a secret from everyone at my job and TODAY people are starting to ask me what I've been doing and how much weight I've lost. (I am 8 days post op) I told them about 10 pounds..which is true since my surgery but I've lost 24 from the day I started pre-op diet until today. I feel like the questions are going to keep coming since I have lost about 1 lb a day so far and I'm not offering any information. I've heard the office talk about others who HAVE had the surgery and it's like they were a failure because they couldn't lose the weight on their own and had to use something so dramatic. Surely nobody would REALLY come out and ask me if I had surgery but I still don't want to tell anyone. I haven't lied, it's just none of their business..Has anyone else experienced this feeling of not wanting to share they had surgery?
  12. The same thing happened to me. I had a low grade fever the morning after and I got scared but it went away on its own too.
  13. that stinks you had to change it. Once I got my date I was counting down the days I was so excited. Time will pass fast and aug will be here before you know it! Good luck!
  14. I had my surgery on monday and when I woke up I was in so much pain. I asked myself why did you do this?? Once my pain medicine started I stayed asleep most of the time but when I was awake I started throwing up. It was TERRIBLE. I guess my body was not liking the pain meds. I came home yesterday and the 2nd day was soo much better than the first. My bp was elevated last night which have me a headache and I'm soo ready to lose some weight so it will go down permanently. I know everyone's experience is different. I am finding it hard to get my protein in. I can't feel any of my incisions except the large one on my right side. It really does get better each day.
  15. At the hospital now getting prepped for surgery! Everyone say prayers!
  16. I've been on it 9 days now. Thanks MrsPierre
  17. My surgery is Monday the 24th and today I feel like I'm starving! Maybe it's all in my head...I've had two protein shakes already and a yogurt. My husband cooked hamburgers for him and some others coaches today and I had to lick myself in the room so I wouldn't eat them!! I hope the other side is better than this!! COME ON MONDAY
  18. That sounds like a great suggestion. I will definitely try it. Thank you :-)
  19. I am on liquid only for the most part but they said I could have cottage cheese and cheese sticks. my bp has come down but the bottom number has still been around 93/94. Im hoping the 116/94 range will still get me in surgery on monday!!
  20. Congratulations! It only took 5 days to get my approval and I am scheduled to have surgery on monday. I'm super excited and getting nervous too
